The Cove

Dave behind the bar always is a welcoming face to see when I stop into the cover for a couple brews or mix drinks. I love the pool table and dart board that keep you entertained when the game isn't holding your attention. The fish tank behind the bar is also really cool to look at!!But this all cash bar is great neighborhood bar that's got some awesome regulars and bartenders!!

We stopped in on our way home from seeing one of our local musicians. The Cove caters to a certain type of clientele and if this is you, this will def be a staple for you. Cheap drinks and strong pours. Good music and if you're a jukebox person, you can add some of your own tunes. And, yes, it's cash only. Be ready. If you stay long enough, this may become your bar, lol!

Great little spot, I visited 2 weekends ago, I am from so cal so I wasn't having alot of hope for this place, boy I was wrong the staff was amazing the place so clean and homie, since the pandemic all my local watering holes shut down. Hood to see a business like this thriving. Things to know before you go. Cash bar! Also don't take edibles before you get there or you might think your dying lol sorry the cove i was just a little too high. Will be back!

We had a BLAST! Late night stop before heading back to our hotel. Love the local vibes and bartender was fabulous!

Fun dive bar!!!!We couldn't get the Chiefs game on at our VRBO (we might say it's user error) so we found this close by. Bree (?) was super accommodating in getting the TVs switched. No food but David and who I presume to be a few regulars suggested we head to Manning's.

Was served watered down shots and terrible customer service. Save your $ and go elsewhere.

Fun laid back bar with good prices. Good bartender and nice patrons. Great spot if you're looking for dive bar.

Hey Sal This is drew , still trying to contact you , Because you said a year ago that you had my money from coming up on 3years .How's your bar doing ?I hope its ok and what you thought it would be when we helped you create it . Ie, ..all the interior build out . Its obviously been hard to collect the 1,252.00 that you still owe me , if you won't answer any of my many messages . I'm hoping that this message will remind you of your obligation to pay me for all that work on your bar , the Cove , on Alameda .We even worked on that Easter to get you open . Remember ? Very happy to have found this little dive bar gem!! It's filled with fun people and really friendly staff. I'll be back, for sure.

This bar is so fun! They have pool tables, the music is good, and bathrooms are clean. Super polite bartenders and the owner is hilarious! If you're looking for a nice place to just chill in Lakewood, this is your spot!
