The Captain Tacos & Sushi

Hands down some of the best tacos and loaded fries I've ever had. Service was impeccable and order to delivery was very quick. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for them around Denver.

So happy to try this food truck! Customer service was so friendly and attentive. Peter and Fabi made some great food!! Would highly encourage others to try this location & these dishes. So.dang.good! Thank you two for a memorable dinner!

What! These tacos were wonderful, and exactly what I needed! Beautiful tasting and beautifully plated with super sweet attendants, to boot! We talked about Sade and L.A. to/from Denver living. Peter went above and beyond! Thank you so much for bringing the good vibes! I'll need to find y'all again so I can try some of those deep fried sushi rolls! My buddy is a chef, and her eyes rolled with glorious delight and didn't let me try nary a one! haha!

The best food truck experience in a long time. The truck/kitchen is clean, the owner is kind, and the food is fresh and well-prepared. I don't know what else you could ask for in a food truck. We had the loaded fries while sipping some beers at Odyssey Brewery in Arvada.

Five stars for these philanthropic food heroes!!I've spotted this food truck around Denver a few times but hadn't tried it until we were having a charity event at Improper City. These guys had their food truck out back. Our charity event was taking place inside. Long story short, we needed up running out of food for guests pretty early on (and much sooner than we thought we would-- people were hungry!). The gentleman who I presume to be the owner of the food truck, came in and asked about our event. He said we could send people out to his truck and he'd give them some sushi. This gentleman didn't ask for compensation, what an incredible business owner with a good heart! Of course, we encouraged our folks to tip if they could, so I hope most of our folks bought additional items from the truck or tipped a few bucks.Toward the end of the event, I was able to go grab some sushi for myself. And it was BOMB! So good, had a nice spicy kick to it, and he gave a generous portion!I'm making it a point that when I see this truck around town to visit them and place an order. What more can you ask for than excellent, tasty dishes, and a kind owner that is giving back to the community without asking anything in return? Definitely check out this spot and support them when you see them in town!

Always Atleast an hour late, and then doesn't know what's posted on their own menu and be confused when I ask for something. When it comes to sushi either say they're not serving sushi at all or the sushi will take over 20-25 minutes to be ready. They've entirely forgotten my order after I waited the 20 minutes I was told they would have to make it then and I'd have to wait another 15 min. Today, I waited 45 min because he obviously forgot about my order and others were served before mine was even made. I've tried not to say anything but it's happened more than twice now. Food is great, but being late and unprepared and confused puts off of ordering again. Please, discuss professionalism and time waiting, this is unreasonable.

My family and I attended the Thornton festival. The Captain food truck was my mother's choice and she ordered loaded asada fries (picture added) and fried sushi! Both courses were DELICIOUS! The sushi was fresh and amazing! Both courses had all the right flavors and the sauce they served on the side was spicy. The gentleman who attend us was sweet and helpful. Highly recommend this food truck you can feel a good ambiance! They had a good variety of options to pick from the menu. Go check them out or see them at the next event! Don't miss out on the foood it's a vibee

Food was amazing and service was just as good! I really enjoyed the Crazy Fries while The Captain was stopped at Long Table.

Beef tacos were great. The hot sauce is actually hot. And delicious. Also, Peter is so friendly and genuine and willing to customize any order and hunt you down anywhere you're sitting in the brewery. Honestly, it's worth it to go just to talk to this guy. Can't wait to try the fried sushi!

As soon as I landed in Denver my friends brought me here and it's amazinggggg!!! had the terriyaki chicken bowl and the black beard sushi totally hit the spot. Thanks Peter Yes and I will def be back.
