The Burrito Shack

I used to drive for them the owner son is cheap could not even go up 5 dollars a day for delivery I traveled 72 miles a day to different gas stations to deliver burritos Mon to sat. Also there stove have not been cleaned in a long time and there frier as well oil that fries the potatoes as for there soda machine don't order the drinks the sryup is old really old taste bad Pepsi mountain dew all of it old. They don't wear gloves when making the food or wrapping them up. Dishes get washed every other day. Health depth needs to come in. It may look clean from the front. Don't let looks decive you.

So I am not sure if they serve Santiago's Breakfast Burritos, or just prepare them the same way. They come in foil rolled just like Santiagos and you are not given a choice of protein. So I am thinking, that they may be purchased from Santiagos and reheated. Even so, they are good. Unlike the flat $2 for Santiagos, these come out to $2 and change. Be prepared to pay cash.I had the hot green chili, and it was deliciously spicy.They are open at 6AM and close at 2PM.

Stopped in to the store for fresh-made burrito it wasn't freshly-made it was so soggy and uneatable like it was made this morning and sat in a warmer all day I do not recommend this restaurant

Tried the Burrito Shack today. They are only open until 2pm. At 11:40, when we came in, there was only one person working. No one in front of us, no one waiting for an order and it took 20 minutes after waiting for more than 5 for that person to even come take the order. We ordered two burritos and the jalapeno cheese chips. Because it is carry out only, we did not look in our tied shut bag until we got to our lunch spot which was the other side of town. Our "jalapeno cheese chips" was a box of deep fried flour tortilla squares. No jalapeno, no cheese, but the time was taken to write Jalapeno Cheese Chips on the outside of the box. There is nothing but meat in the burrito. I was a bit disappointed in that as well. There are too many fabulous Mexcian restaurants around to warrant a second try on this one.

1/2 a star if I could. Why? Inconsistent hours of operation. When they are open you can get decent Santiago's-like breakfast burritos. Not sure how they stay in business when they are not open during the hours posted on the door. Never again will I make the drive to the Burrito Shack only to find the doors locked when they are supposed to be open.

This little shack is pretty much awesome but not much to say as you can't stay to eat with it's cafeteria style order and go design. The burritos are great but a shy on the small side. Although I'm working on portion control anyway so it works out lol. Now for the green chili. The hot I can honestly say is some of the best I've had, a far cry from my own but that's another story ;-) . Now they have another flavor xxx or dynamite I can't remember but it wasn't very hot and the flavor was defiantly lostSo if you go stick with the hot!

I've been in here several times. I LOVE the breakfast burritos. This is the only place in Arvada that makes great breakfast burritos and at a decent price too! I also love the sloppy tostada crunch. The green chili is amazing. I've never had issues worth customer service. One of the ladies can see me leave my car and pretty much have my order ready, just needing to know if I'm getting 1 or 2 burritos. She's very friendly. The other cashier is normal. Not rude, but not very friendly either. I once even came in with about 5 minutes to closing and a man, whom I believe is one of the owners, was very friendly about roofing me up and not being allowed (because we all hate those that come in so close to closing).

Actually liked the food at first and then they weren't open during their hours. Manager called me a bitch cuz I wanted to know why they weren't open. DO NOT GO!!!!

This business states they are open at 5am Tuesday-Sunday and I've gone there the past three weeks and they have been closed. Very disappointed, I've wasted too many mornings to see they are closed.

If I could give this a zero star rating I would. We stopped there and got for breakfast burritos this morning half no I'm sorry they were beef and bean burritos and half-and-half on the chili sauce we got at home 8 miles away opened it up to eat and it was all beings and no green Applechili. We called and complained Plaidy said she would send out a new order which she did took her about 40 minutes when The food came and it was totally incorrect just like the first-order it was all beans no green chili hot or mild. So we got the car we drove down and told him we wanted our money back. The lady said no absolutely not. She opened it up and he showed her where there was no green chili and she said I'm not going to give you your money back and don't ever come back here again her name was Mara or something like that she said she's the owner but I'd really like to find out for sure if she is the owner I'll check with the Arvada Chamber of Commerce on Monday I do not recommend this place she was rude the food was not prepared correctly and she was unwilling to make it right don't waste your time and moneyI don't low class establishment where the so-called owner tells you to leave and don't ever come back when the order is clearly incorrect
