Thai & Chinese Express

Items were tasty and fresh. Good options for a reasonable price. Will definitely go back. Curious if their dinner items are equally fresh. Wish the lo-mein was not spaghetti noodles, but other than that service was quick and friendly. Location is best for take out, but they do have a few tables, just not much for decor/style.

This is a tiny, hole in the wall, mom and pop joint. Their kids' stuff is all over the place, it doesn't feel classy at all, it's $2.00ish per scoop, which just means you KNOW it's gonna be good. And I was not disappointed. The food here is surprisingly Chinese-American fare, like what is typically thought of in the American collective conscience as Chinese food--what you might find at Panda Express. It's immigrant family owned though, so you can taste extra five-spice in the chow mien, the vegetables are not undercooked (though maybe they're overcooked according to some people's taste), and everything is so umami.The chow mien here is so special. Again, the primary flavor is five spice, so there are hints of cinnamon and anise. The sesame chicken is a little too sweet for me but fried very well. It may also have a tiny hint of spiciness. I like that all the components in the happy family taste distinct. You can taste how the carrots are different from broccoli and from the water chestnuts. Also has the perfect balance of sweet and salty.Stepping into the store feels like a blast from the past when only Chinese and Thai food or pizza were the primary takeout/delivery staples. Oh, even though the restaurant is called Chinese and Thai Express, they don't really have Thai food. But at least delivery is free!Don't come here if you want pampered service or clean flavors or if you have an MSG sensitivity. Also don't come if you can't stand a little grease. Come here if you want good American Chinese comfort food. I will be coming back for their egg-drop soup, beef broccoli, and black bean chicken, 'cause everything is so yummy!

The food disgusting!!! The fried rice was stale. That beef is not real meat. I threw everything away. I felt sick after eating the food.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but this little hole in the wall is pretty fantastic for the price. I go at least every other week, as I am addicted to their jalapeno chicken. I just get 2 scoops of that, and it is a full styrofoam box that is a big satisfying lunch, for under $5 out the door. Mostly chicken, and a few other standard chinese dishes, but their to-order menu is really great as well. Talented chef husband and wife duo run this little shop. Give it a try - you can't go wrong!

I thought the food was really good. Super quick and she piled up the food for only $4-5 I'm like what the hell, such a good deal and good tasting!

Ok for $2.50 a scoop you are not going to get up scale dining That would be like comparing McDonalds to a high end steak house But if you are craving inexpensive neighborhood Asian this is the place I got a huge container of food and 2 egg rolls for less than $10Try getting that value at a fast food franchise I really liked the orange chicken Could only finish half and am saving the leftovers for hangover Sunday If you are are a Food elitist this isn't for you but for the rest of us on a budget and love mom and pops this placeRocks !!!!'

This restaurant is phenomenally cheap. The food is not bad at all for the price. I come here often for takeout.

This place is fantastic. Very inexpensive. The portion size is ridiculously large. Usually three scoops per serving. My kiddos love this place.

The sesame chicken didn't have much sauce on it and had the smell of burnt Teflon. Don't know if there was a fire in the kitchen when my order was made, but that's what it smelled like.

Best food I've had with a decent price tag I highly recommend this if I had anything else add I'd say get a fountain drink dispenser
