So my friends and I were walking past this place one night and I saw the sign they had on the front window a picture of a milk tea latte that looked amazing. False advertising. I walk in and ask the barista if I can have what's on the front picture. Right off the bat, he tell me, "idk why the owner put that up there because I can make it for you, but it'll look nothing like that". Okay, I appreciate the honesty. I get it. However, I still wanted to try something. So we tried the sample teas at the counter. Not bad. I ordered a large one to go. This barista makes the order for me, and I told him that I ordered a large. Which he took my order and no one else was in the place so it's not like he was even busy.....this is is where I got upset. He legitimately snatched the cup from my hand, POURED the MEDIUM tea Into a LARGE cup, and pours Water into it and adds ice. Okay, if you're a TEA drinker you understand that completely dilutes the tea where you're just drinking colored water at that point. He honestly didn't give a rats ass about his customers and did this straight in front of me. Common, I get it if it's busy and you don't have time to remake it. But I was the only MOTHER EFFING order there!!! Dude was a piece. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here unless you wanted to be treated like trash. Waste of my time and my money. Pathetic customer service.

Stopped in here for something refreshing! It was super hot in Denver so needed a cool boost. I'm not a big tea drinker, but I thought "what the heck." They have a huge selection of teas for purchase in bulk, or for drinks. I opted for the "Mango-Tango Boost Mood." This is supposed to be good for the immune system and digestion, which, when while on travel I can always use. They do a fresh pour-over then shake in ice. This is really good and semi-sweet with no sugar added. They do coffees too, but if you are a tea drinker I think you will like this place. The server was knowledgeable and friendly and it only took a few minutes to get our drinks. It's a quiet place with mellow vibes and plenty of indoor seating to relax or work.

After having lunch at Sol across the street, my friend wanted a cup of tea, specifically at Teaura. Pretty sure they're about to close...? Or at least everything seemed understaffed and heavily discounted that day. The guy running the place when we visited was super sweet and helpful as our eyes glossed over the entire selection of tea on the back wall.We ordered our tea, and it was tempting to take the barista up on some deal to get a free cup of tea with a purchase of tea leaves. I didn't but got whatever my friend ordered because I'm far from a tea connoisseur (all kinda tastes the same to me... GASP!!). Then we sat in the cozy chairs next to the fire and awaited our drinks. It was pretty quiet, not busy with any other customers. Despite that, the tea still took awhile to steep and be served, but we weren't in a rush. Just go along with the calm intention of tea drinking. Again, I'm no expert on tea, so I'm not sure how Teaura measures up to other places, but it seemed average (a little meh) from my perspective.

Summary: Better luck buying the loose-leaf tea and steeping it yourself. Skip the prepared to-go tea here. Five stars for the staff. This review is solely on the tea. Details:I love tea, and this place was just not my cup of tea. Champagne raspberry white tea and some other floral tea (forgot the name) were both a light bittery, watered-down taste. I don't know if it was steeped in the incorrect temperature, not steeped long enough, or if I just didn't like the tea blend. It tasted like..it was all of the above. On the boba milk tea - the Thai tea flavor was weak and the boba pearls weren't that perfect "QQ" texture (off day?). Very disappointed in the flavors I tried. I usually have a ball in tea shops. :(Covid-19: Very nice, spacey, and clean. Hand sanitizer available. Near empty. People kept their distance indoors.

Service is questionable.... Apparently the difference between a small and large tea is water, not actual tea. Weird for a tea place right? I ordered a large tea and a small tea came out. When I informed staff, he took the small tea, poured it into the large tea cup, made up the difference with water and added ice. I'm no tea expert by any means but when you add water to tea that was already steeped you basically dilute it which means this guy thought it was okay to do so. Or maybe the owners taught trained him to do this. Never coming back to this place when they clearly don't understand how to make tea. Save your money, buy some tea bags, and do it yourself at home. Not worth the price.

Nice place to get tea if you're in the area. SERVICE+ The gentleman working here was so friendly and knowledgeable about the tea selection. He will offer you great recommendations based on what you like or are looking for. DRINKS + I got a iced mango jasmine tea, it was good and had a great aroma.

I got the coconut masala bubble tea (with boba) the tea is wonderful! But the boba is not good unfortunately. I would get tea from here again but I would not recommend the bubble tea. The boba doesn't seem to be sweetened. Great tea shop! But they haven't quite nailed their own bubble tea. (I brought the tea home and used my own metal straw)

Great tea, experience, atmosphere, wide variety of tea and accessories. The people watching experience is hard to beat, giant Windows, outdoor seating at a busy intersection. Best tea/coffee house experience I've had in Denver. Support local businesses!
