Go to TeaLee's for an authentic taste of Five Points! With a nice selection of tea, this cafe also offers coffee, wine, cocktails, etc. We tried two unique teas and were not disappointed. For food, we had a vegan bbq jackfruit toast and a curry egg toast and were both pleased. The cafe also offers quiches, scones, and plenty of other items. I'd like to come back to try their Sunday brunch and their high tea. The teahouse/cafe looks small upon entry, but deceivingly so: there's a much larger area downstairs, and it's very pleasant! With a couch, tables and chairs, artwork you can purchase, and bookshelves of books you can purchase, there's plenty of space to sit, sip your tea, and relax. I've heard that there's sometimes live jazz performances here, so I'd like to return for that too. Definitely check it out! It's a truly local business with good food/drinks, good prices, good service, an all-in-all nice concept, and it's Black woman owned. The staff were all very friendly. There's something for everyone there!

I really can't put into words the amount of love and joy my visit to TeaLee's Teahouse brought me. It was my last day visiting Denver for an extended business trip and I was super hungry but it was Mother's Day and many area breakfast spots were full. I decided on a whim to check out TeaLee's Teahouse. Parking was easy to find, which is a plus in downtown Denver. When I walked in a sweet woman asked if I had a reservation, which of course I did not, but I explained that my flight leaves in a couple of hours and happened to find her spot on Google for black owned areas. As I looked around there were "reserved" signs on all the tables, and she explained they had a special Mother's Day brunch event, and I fully expected to be turned away. However, to my surprise the nice lady seated me.I was approached by another beautiful lady, who took my order. For Mother's Day they had an assortment of quiche and salad available. The place is small so they don't have a major "kitchen". I ordered an amazing cup of Moroccan Honey Chai and their crab and shrimp quiche. While I waited I chatted with the ladies who worked at the store. The food...omg..that quiche was divine. I didn't taste a hint of egg, just loaded with crab and shrimp with a flaky crust. The salad was so simple but refreshing with a bed of mix greens, avocado, mango and pomegranate seeds in a very light dressing. To finish off the plate there were some baked sweet potato chips. Though, it wasn't heavy it definitely was filling. TeaLee's is worth a visit, whether to listen to their live jazz, or poets or just to sit and talk to friends over a shared brew of tea. The ladies who work there make you feel like you are family, their smile and generosity was so appreciated.

Just popped in to Tealee's with a friend. This has been on my list for awhile! We were met with the sweetest woman who made us so comfortable and let us ask questions about the menu. We also had the chance to meet the owner who we had a lovely talk with and is so kind! I loved the collection of books downstairs, which also is a great place to get some work done, read, or just enjoy a moment. We ordered pots of regular and vanilla rooibos tea, which was PERFECT for this type of weather. I finished my whole pot and even sipped on some of my friends! We also had scones and chocolate chip cookies. The scone was to die for. I dipped mine in my tea and was in heaven! The cookies were perfectly crisped on the outside, and soft on the inside. This is the perfect place to have a chat with a friend or partner, we ended up sitting and talking for quite some time! Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good tea!

Adorable homey spot- super glad we came here instead of the chain coffee places near our hotel. Parking was easy peasy Sunday morning right out front. The two Ladies working were welcoming & just lovely. There are tables inside & also some seating outside. Prices are totally reasonable. We had cappuccino & a pot of tea & a couple pastries. Brunch menu looked good & had vegan options too but we didn't have time for a whole meal. Downstairs has books & really beautiful art as well as tables set for use as an event space or small party area. What could've been better? Just a bit MORE- would love to see them expand the bookshop & gift item offerings ( there's some cards & jewelry) Scone was kinda dry. Totally wish I had more time in town to attend an event or try full brunch or afternoon tea set- will be back for that!

What a lovely retreat. Totally unexpected that I found this little gem. My scone was delicious and I thought the tea presentation and the table set with linen and fresh flowers was a touch that made the experience special. The staff was kind and friendly. Thank you for my little get away.

I could have gotten a tea at the conference hotel, but I decided to roam and see what the neighborhood had to offer. What I found is this little shop with a few seats and a long tea menu. I got a chai latte and was given a choice of milk and milk substitute options (with no upcharge it seems). The chai I received ran a bit over the mug they used, but I received the remainder in a second cup. It was a robustly flavored beverage; not overly sweet and possessing a bite that seemed like black pepper perhaps. As I told them, with a good chai you don't necessarily want to know what you're drinking, it's about the discovery. They did have a small food selection, and an abundance of other tea options, and I thought them well worth passing up on the typical tea bags I had at my disposal.

First time visiting TeaLee, and I'm a fan. Came for the high tea, and it was very enjoyable. We were offered a choice of either bacon, veggie, or seafood quiche. All of us went with the seafood quiche. Not a crumb was left on anyone's plate. It was so good! The success quiche was accompanied by sweet potato balls and a side salad that had mango, avocado, and pomegranate seeds. The high tea tower consisted of cucumber sanwhich bites with a dollop of pesto and egg salad on crackers, as well as very moist blueberry scones and chocolate mousse flowers. Overall, everyone in my party was incredibly satisfied and delighted by the whole experience. This is now one of my favorite tea places in Denver!

Do not miss this small gem near downtown Denver! Whether your knowledge of tea is extensive or very basic, the staff seems happy to help you find a brew you'll like. I enjoyed my first matcha, alongside an absolutely delightful salmon sandwich. Allow some time to browse the eclectic book selection, and just enjoy the vibe.
