Taqueria Sanchez

We came in a walk to check out the completed freeway and the new park they built over I-70 through Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Saw the Sanchez had recently been freshened up and stopped for breakfast burritos. This place is deceptively busy. Easily 75% of their business in Sunday morning was takeout and pickup orders. They can seat 20+ people inside and outdoor picnic tables for the same. Quick order. Decent prices. Some bakery items. Then we waited. And waited. Finally asked about our order after people who arrived after us had been seated and received their food. Then waited some more. More people came and went. For out the door. Clearly popular in the neighborhood but waiting 30 minutes for two breakfast burritos feels pretty crazy. Especially when we are sitting there waiting. Huge to-go orders. Bags and bags of styrofoam containers out the door. Finally at 30 minutes we got our food. Definitely tasty stuff but I would definitely call ahead next time. Not worth a long wait. I give the sausage egg and potato burrito four stars. The chorizo breakfast burrito was four stars. The wait was two stars. Service to take our order was friendly and quick. Cash tips only. The food being plated for dine-in customers looked amazing.

Traveled to Denver from San Antonio, TX for a short weekend trip. Husband wanted Mexican for breakfast so he found this little place. Everything we had was so good. The beans needed some salt but other than that, everything tasted great and was freshly prepared. We did order coffee and the creamer was a powdered creamer, which we aren't used to but we made the best of it and the coffee itself tasted good, so it wasn't a huge deal. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you're looking for some good Mexican food.

Deliciously good food in a divey restaurant. Had the carne de puerco plate which was fantastic. Too much food for me. Enough for two people easily. It will also offer green or red salsa. I recommend the green. It is amazing.

Great food and service! Blanca was very helpful. We had asada and camaron tacos and they were delicious. Wonderful place!

We were at a conference in Denver and needed a lunch stop on the way to the airport. Taqueria Sanchez was really good. We each got tacos and rice n beans. Steak, chicken and tacos. The place is clean and decorated with classic Mexican art, Pancho Via etc... the taco shells were really fresh. Mostly Blanca and the other workers there, we're super friendly and attentive.

Amazing food! So happy we found this place! We go here for breakfast often and it is very quick and everyone is so nice.

Just needed a quick bite after spending all day at the Western Stock Show for an event. Found this hidden gem which is connected to their Butcher Shop. Authentic Mexican food and the best truly Mexican style tacos with whatever meat you want. You can tell none of the meat was frozen. All prepared perfectly. No fluff here. Just great tasting food. Best in Colorado in my humble opinion.

We were passing through Denver to yield Mexican food found them in the weekend. Great customer service food is delicious recommend it.

This is a legit authentic Mexican restaurant! I ordered the TACOS QUESABIRRIAS with a side of RICE & BEANS. Dang, these were so good! It's my third time coming here. The previous times I ordered the MENUDO. So good as well Yummy!100% tasty!I ate so fast I forgot to take a photo to post on here. Oops
