$1.50 tacos...nuff said :) Great little joint right on Colfax turning out pork tacos al vapor. They were delicious and such a good deal! Got them with everything on it, onion, cilantro and sauce...ordered 5 between 2 of us and could easily have put down 5 more.

These tacos are available on Saturday and Sundays. They only offer two types of meats which is Al Vapor (shredded beef) and tongue. Both are delicious, but my favorite are the Al Vapor which is steamed cooked beef. The wait for them can be between 8-20min. If they're really busy you can add an extra 5-8 min. The red salsa is delicious too. Definitely worth trying if you love home-style tacos! They open at 8am and close about 4pm.

TLDH is a street food truck on the NW corner of Colfax and Xanthia, that has more choices here than the previous street taco places I visited today, but they ran out early...all they had left at 2pm was beef and lengua. Sad!! Tacos here are a mere dollar - a steal!! Thought I'd be trying like 8 different things...but...not today. Normally they have asada, lengua, buche, chicharrones, tripas, barbacoa, carnitas, chorizo w hueva, and Mexican burgers,.milanesa, and other sandwiches. Server does speak English. Tacos were delicious, with big chunks of lime and nice fiery salsa Verde....and served mega fast. Recommended if you happen to be in the area, and again, cash only.

Wow, what can I say about this place? It is a food truck located on the corner of Colfax and Xanthia. They set up each Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 2 o clock. My boyfriend and I visit this place every SINGLE weekend. That is how perfect these Al Vapor tacos are! The tortillas are small but taste wonderful in your mouth, along with the great tasting meat, sauce, cilantro and onions. A perfect combination. I have tried tacos Al Vapor in too many places but this place is the best of all.
