Although 3 months young, this family-owned restaurant seems to have the kinks, if any, ironed out. From their meat samosas (chef's kiss), to the na'an (another chef's kiss), our service was equally matched. Now for a double chef's kiss, the chicken tikka masala and lamb korma topped off the meal. We added some of the cheese na'an...you will end up with a second basket - if not too stuffed. This is a must try if you enjoy Indian Cuisine.Mild had no spice, will try medium next. Ambiance was simple, clean and has a nice and rich palette.

Family owned, quaint and cute! The service is impeccable although sometimes they can get overwhelmed on busy nights! Some of the best Indian in Denver area! I always get the Shrimp Korma and the Old Monk beer is awesome! Hugely underrated restaurant in castle pines!

Conveniently located in Castle Pines being sandwiched between Castle Rock and Lone Tree, I discovered this place in my Internet search for a great Indian restaurant on the way as I was hungry for dinner. its 4.5 star rating looked promising.I almost placed my food order on their website. The only reason I didn't do so was because I wasn't sure if main dishes (like curry) came with naan or rice (nowhere on their website say anything about it); it was best to just show up and order upon arrival. This restaurant is in a very quiet surrounding. To its left is a dry cleaner. There were only several cars parked right in front of it.There wasn't much of a warm welcome by its employees; they weren't necessarily rude or blunt in any way. Service was pretty basic. This was OK as long as the food would be good. My expectation was climbing up the ladder at that point. They didn't look busy inside. There was only one table occupied by diners. They didn't appear to be busy with to-go orders either. The young guy at the ordering counter said main dishes (like curry) came with rice but naan. I went with the lamb curry and side naan. Items in the appetizer and dessert sections looked very appealing but since it was just for me, two items would be plenty. The store inside has got good amount of Indian theme throughout but overall, it's very simple. Dining tables and chairs were neatly placed with equal amount of space between each one. I checked the ladies' room and it was very clean.I waited good 15-20 minutes before my food came out of the kitchen. I wasn't in a hurry; I was just hungry (lol)!!As soon as I got home, I started my dinner. The naan looked a bit dry. It was good but seemed a bit ordinary and small. Maybe it's best to eat when it's freshly made??But the curry was pretty impressive. A good amount of lamb meat was in it; the rice that came with it had a good volume. Not a bad place, I thought. It's a nice place to know if I'll be in the neighborhood with a strong craving for a good Indian food next time. I'll go back here if I see fit.

A pretty alright Indian spot to hit up! I enjoyed the food, however we weren't asked what spice level we wanted. I would've definitely preferred the food to be a bit spicier. The chicken tikka masala was good from the bite I got to try... fairly light on the spices. I ordered the Alu Gobi Masala which is great for those looking for a vegan option :) One thing that stood out to all of us was their samosas... HIGHLY recommend. I would consider ordering take out from them, but I don't know if I'd come back to dine-in. There was a smell that lingered after leaving. I kind of smelled like a campfire and it was kind of overwhelming when you first walk in. They could also benefit from turning the music down a little too. Overall, good experience:)

What do you learn from cows, buffalos and elephants? You cannot reduce weight by eating grass and walking. It's impossible. So might as well splurge and enjoy the good food out there. So happy Tandoori Flames is my hidden neighborhood gem and one of the best ethnic restaurants in Castle Pines. Tucked in the smaller strip mall coincidentally next to my favorite nail shop, you will find Ruby slaving ingredients from scratch over a hot stove serving some of the best Indian food I have had in awhile. Authentic, fresh and so worth the drive here. But most of all, you'll come to chat up with Ruby. She's darling, one of a kind and certainly one of the most friendly welcoming owners and restaurateurs. Start with the garlic naan and cheese naan. Yummy for the tummy. And perfect for dipping in the chicken tikka masala sauce. Perfection honestly. Hands down, I am a big fan of the sizzling kabob dinner platters. So tender and flavorful, generous in size I would recommend the Seekh kabob. Naturally I couldn't wait to finish my meal so I could have the masala chai tea and kheer dessert. Ooeemmggee I went to heaven. The honey and sugar in the kheer is not too sweet, just the right balance of delishness only a fantastic cook like Ruby can capture. This chai is how every tea should be made. The delicate marrying of ginger, cinnamon and cardamom achieved truly a cup of happiness. We did also get to try local Indian beer and my favorite was the Bira comparable to a Hefeweizen. The Old Monk 10000 Super Beer pours a golden light but has sweetness of more a malt beer. Tandoori Flames has been on my list but not everyone is adventurous and a fan of Indian food like I am. Thank goodness this cute guy I snagged loves Indian food. Walking in, it's like being invited into Ruby's home for an intimate get together. So if you are craving homemade Indian food or need a pick me upper after a rough day, come sit and eat Ruby's cooking. Your energy and vibe will change entirely walking in here.

The five-star average is legit. We arrived fairly late on a Saturday night and found only a few other customers inside. Prices are a little higher than you might expect, but with large serving sizes, it's hard to complain. We started with an order of the meat samosas. Two large pieces with great flavor, and the accompanying sauce was amazing. Garlic naan was wonderful. We split both the lamb and chicken biryani. Again, really large servings, both bursting with flavor. Plenty of leftovers of each to take home. For dessert, we split an order of gulab jamun and the kheer rice pudding. The gulab was hot and yummy, and the rice pudding was gigantic but also good. No fountain drinks, so you're getting cans, and they give you bottles of water but don't charge for them. Service was prompt, and our order was correct. We'll definitely be back.

The tandoori indeed is filled with flames! Family owned spot has some of the best India'a staples. The saag was delicious! The Biryani was on point. The naan was yummy and the cherry filled one was tasty! Only oddity is water is served in the bottles which is rather odd. We are in Colorado and tap water is safe to consume. Nevertheless, a tasty spot.
