For what it is, it's great. I love the nachos with black beans and pork. The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. Great option at DIA.

Heard about how Colorado is known for their green chili and this place was in the list for places to try it. I had the juevos rancheros and it hit the spot! Eggs were perfect, loved the warm flour tortilla and refried beans along with the green chili to put over and dip the eggs and potatoes in. Potatoes were ok - a little dry. Overall, a nice filling meal before my flight!

It quickly became one of my favorite spots on the world tour, as my frequent travel through Denver International will now have La Casita as a strong option.Recommended by my much better half, I loved the counter staff and their overall vibe--helpful, patient, and fun. There is plenty of nearby seating. I enjoyed their smothered breakfast burrito, which had a lot of content and an incredibly tasty hot salsa that made the whole experience outstanding.

Usually my reviews of restaurants are based on food more than service. However, I had to comment on the service this time. Overall, the service was awful. I will say that the cashier was fine, but the people working the line verged on rude. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices, especially as we were in an airport. As we interacted with the staff, we understood why. They answered our questions with almost one-word answers and were generally unhelpful. Chipotle's service is easily so much better than the service we received. The staff clearly lack training in customer service. I will say that I've eaten here before and didn't remember the service being so bad.My boyfriend and I ordered a chicken bowl to share. First off, they only had white rice when brown rice is an option on the menu. All they said was that it was not available; no further explanation. Then, so many things were add-ones which would be free at Chipotle, such as veggies and sour cream. I have eaten here previously and thought it was decent, but after the service I received this time, it really gives me some pause. The taste of the food was also pretty average; I personally think Chipotle is more flavorful. The hot salsa is pretty spicy. I can generally handle jalapeño level of heat with no problem; this was definitely spicier than that.If I had to rate on food alone, I would probably give it 3 stars. However, the service was sufficiently bad that I removed a star for that. The next time I'm in the area, I'll probably check out a different place to eat.

Passing through the Denver Airport after a week of Yosemite, dining car meals for 2 days on the AmTrak California Zephyr, and a day in the snow in Rocky Mountain National Park, I was happy to just grab a bite and chill. This burrito bowl was surprisingly tasty, even though we had to eat at the gate. It was fast service, filling, and not too pricey for airport fare.

Airport food, stopped here during my layover at Denver. I didn't set any expectation while waiting in the line. Simple menu - build it yourself - bowl, burrito, taco or taco salad. Opted the bowl with rice, beans, veggies, choice of meat - and everything else will cost you extra! They filled my bowls with rice and beans, that left hardly enough space for veggies and chicken. I asked for their spiciest salsa, trust me - that's damn spicy! Food is decent. But not worth for the money. Portion size is not satisfying as well. Nothing really great about this place. I liked the food and their salsa! worth a bonus star imo!

Stopped by Tamales by La Casita while on a layover in Denver and I saw the reviews were terrible a little late so I had already made my order. I decided to go with the breakfast burrito and didn't add any additional toppings so it was only $6 + tip and tax.The burrito was surprisingly pretty solid and for that price in an airport, I think this is the most filling meal you can get. It definitely wasn't the best burrito I have ever had, but like I said considering how cheap it was and in an airport, I would do it again. The line was pretty long, but the workers were making good progress getting through everyone in a timely manner. I was in and out under 5 minutes - way before my partner had even ordered her drink at Starbucks. This place is at the edge of the food court there, so not a great atmosphere at all, but there are places to sit which can be useful.

First, I have to admit, I didn't fully dine here, my husband did- but I did take a big bite of his burrito & was instantly jealous of his pick over mine.Initially, price-wise, I was amazed he discovered an option within an airport under $10, and had hesitations on the quantity & quality- but as I watched his diy burrito being made, I was pleasantly surprised at the large plate being created. He opted for the chicken burrito, rice & beans, smothered with red chili, topped with more red chili, lettuce, onions, and cheese. My family is from New Mexico, so I will say I am a stickler for quality red chili, and again taking a big bite of his burrito I was impressed. The chili had the quintessential New Mexican dry heat, creamy heartiness, with just the right kick of spice- his burrito was PACKED-and again, I can't believe it was under $10- a very quality eat. (I opted for a nearby acai bowl-which I did thoroughly enjoy) but the meal was so hearty w.rich flavors- I hope if we ever get stranded on a delayed flight again it's in this airport so I can create my own bowl!Though note: while sitting near the counter & dining, I overheard the rice & beans are included in some meals & add-on costs in others, but the staff just plainly ask 'rice & beans' to which people auto respond sure and were finding out later it was an unexpected upcharge

Picked this place for breakfast because it had the shortest line. Food was ok. Not much flavor but it hit the spot. If you need a lot of food though, order two breakfast burritos; they are rather small for burritos.

A stewardess on Southwest flight recommended this place located on airport C terminal. Much like a Chipotle. Easy to find a table to sit down.
