Takiza Taco & Tequila Bar - Denver

Went here last night before the Avs game after we just happened to walk by. Definitely one of our new favorite options in the area. The shrimp and mango ceviche was phenomenal and the house margarita was great. We order shrimp, chile relleno, and al pastor tacos. All were delicious! Inside has a nice vibe with a decent sized bar and a few TV's. Will be one of our new go-to spots before Avs and Rockies games!

I really liked this place! only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the pricing is a bit steep out of happy hour. but hey its downtown, what do you expect? the tacos are dynomite, but the thing that takes the cake is the chorizqueso. This is hands down some of the best I've ever had and you get tortillas with it. recommend the corn ones with this. It does need a little extra salt IMO, buuut hey you can add more. and what a slew of tequila drinks, love it. lavender marg is such a cool twist. definitely worth a try. but my fav was the mexi mule, I could drink those all night and its dangerous! enjoy!

This is my 2nd time here. The margaritas are FANTASTIC! I really liked the chicken tinga taco more than the al pastor. So this time I tried the mole taco as well as the tinga. I have 2 new favorites now, I love the mole taco & it's gluten free! Hubs had the shrimp taco & carnitas taco. His favorite was the shrimp & he tried the tinga taco & wish he ordered that one too. This place is definitely a keeper.

Got the Choriqueso & had to go back the next day for seconds! So good. Vibes are great too!

Stopped in for tacos and margs and was very happy with this place!I got the marg flight, they are all great, but the watermelon was my fav. We shared the chili con queso and it is very flavorful and the chips are perfectly light and crispy. I had the chile relleno and barbacoa tacos ($4 on Tuesday!) and both were great, the barbacoa is melt in your mouth good!!
