Been a while since I've eaten here and it was good for the first few visits and then went down hill a little, BUT now the bar has been raised and they are pumpin the food along with the tunes. There is a a little bit of a language barrier but we got through when I placed my order. Chips and water were brought to the table quickly and then I headed for the salsa bar. Standard offerings of salsas and cut veggies all fresh and tasty, the spiciness of the salsas has dropped imo so the flavor of each is more pronounced. Before I returned to the table the food was served hot and fast. My god the torta was HuGE! Probably had at least two whole avocados of guacamole on it along with a healthy serving of meat, beans, lettuce and cheese which was a great! My taco was simple with just meat on a fresh made tortilla, the meat was perfectly seasoned and super tender. The quesadilla was falling apart with the amount of steak filling it as equally as flavorful and tender as the torta.Great late night spot and worth the drive if you live in a different good

I went today at dinner time, it was a really terrible experience, i ordered a taco plate with 2 asada and 1 barbacoa, my tacos didnt have anything, no onions, cilantro nothing just meat. So I went to the salsa bar and all the veggies were frozen, i asked the cashier/waitress for unfrozen food and she said that was all they have until next day and it was barely 5pm so i refused to pay and eat those plain tacos because they never told me about this when I ordered it.My family and I never got any chips and salsa, we had to go and get our drinks, everything was very bad. We will not come back.

My favorite sit-down/to go Mexican restaurant around. Prices are a little high but that's to be expected for how popular they are. Great place to try something different too! Never had something I didn't like from here! If you are near by, try it out!

This used to be a favorite but even before Covid it was starting to decline. Had lunch there this week and ordered carnitas tacos and a carnitas plate. I don't know what they did but the pork tasted unsalted and the taste of lard was strong they looked like they were damp with grease. The four tortillas were old as well. We wont go back. To bad. I don't know what the they were thinking serving these up.

On a last minute quest for finding some authentic tacos, my boyfriend and I stumbled on this place before turning around. I was relieved when I smelt the heavenly scent of carne asada. Authentic - carne asada! We sat ourselves as I quickly scammed the menu. I didn't care about tortas, or burritos, or plates... just give me some cheap tacos that allowed me to eat them in an efficient manner. My mouth started watering when I glanced at people's food arriving at the table. I ran for the salsa bar and grabbed all the cilantro, onions, and lemon slices my little hands could get a hold of (love love love it!). When the food arrived, I observed it - and yes it looked edible, threw all the extra crap that makes anything taste good on top, then stuffed it in my mouth. Yes... definitely was edible. Aside from the major portions of meat that my flour tortillas could hold, the carne asada and al pastor tacos were filling. My boyfriend literally had to roll himself out of the restaurant. For Denver, this place is decent, do-able, and will continue to have my business in the future!

Delicious Street Tacos (lots of meat choices) & solid self-serve Salsa Bar make this an UNDERRATED GEM!Directly across Federal from (popular & well established) El Taco Veloz & a Taco River, it could easily be overlooked. But after only 1 visit, I can't wait to come back & explore the menu further!

Overpriced small tacos, tasted like made in old oil and meat. Bought tacos and gordita couldn't eat much of what we bought. Salsa bar had old limes and onion and agua de Jamaica way too sweet had to be watered down.

Best Mexican food I've had in Colorado so far! Being a Californian I've been searching for years and the smothered chile Al pastor burrito was amazing. Staff and environment is very authentic and so kind! Loved it!

Service was actually great! Very kind waitress (5 stars). I loved the different salsas! Nice touch. Authentic with yummy tacos al pastor. However, being someone that has actually eaten street tacos in Mexico City, I cannot give a full 5 star rating because:1) tacos Al Pastor should always have the OPTION of being served with grilled pineapple slices! That is very authentic.2) the taco tortillas should be dipped or drizzled in the oils from the Al pastor grill!Environment was authentic to a restaurant in Mexico with soft music in the background.
