Tacos Y Machetes La Carpa

PHENOMENAL tacos!!!!!! Best I've had in Colorado. The tacos Al pastor had pineapple and a delicious green salsa on them and they were BEYOND GREAT! My husband had the tacos pecudos and was over the moon about the taste and portion size! The tacos were served with cucumber and radishes seasoned with tajin and WOW they were tasty!!! The staff was super courteous and quick. The truck is parked in a side parking lot with room for cornhole and plastic "axe throwing" and two picnic tables on turf with umbrellas for shade. 10/10 will be back!!!!

Another place worth the drive. My wife found this place on TikTok. It's a Taco Truck in a parking lot. Tables are underneath a canopy. The service was great. You order at the window and they bring you your food. The ambiance of the outdoors was nice especially since it wasn't raining. We had the Machete de Asada. It was very good and highly recommend. We also had the watermelon aguas. It wasn't too sweet which we loved.

This place is heaven. Having lived in El Paso, I like prefer Mexican over Tex-Mex. I stumbled upon this food truck by sheer accident. They have my fav of all favs Deshabrada! Then I saw the birria being served and decided on that instead. The cheese oozing out of the shell sold me instantly! It did not disappoint. I have returned 3x in 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this my new favorite place. The Al Pastor and Deshabrada are legit too. It is definitely a MUST! You will thank me!

Ay Dios mío!! Definitely worth it!! Ordered a machete with Al Pastor and it was everything you could dream of! An endless quesadilla with pineapple, spice and nothing but homemade love! The salsa was spicy soooo delicious. The smell and the taste of the masa is what really sets them apart. 10/10

I had driven by this place many times on 6th Avenue and after seeing their van at a house in my neighborhood, I looked them up on Facebook. I had been curious about the Quesabirria and also their machete tacos looked cool so we finally gave them a try.OMG, I'm hooked! We have been back there a few times and have had the machete taco, quesabirria and the camaron y pescado tacos and they are all freakin' delicious. I really like their sauces too.The lady that takes our order doesn't speak much English so I practice my Spanish with her and she's always amused at my attempts. Others have commented on the prices but personally, I think it's worth it for the portion sizes. They have tents set up so you can eat there or you can take it to go. Either way, you have got to give them a try, you won't regret it!

Great food and staff, weird location but nice they at least have tent seating. That machete rack isn't as big as it appeared.

The food here is amazing!! Its fresh and absolutely delicious!! It's pretty pricey for what you get which is a bummer, but I love authentic Mexican food. I'm always on the look out for good food and this is definitely a great place to go!

Got the Tacos Playero and loved it! Their red hot sauce definitely had a kick, but really added to the flavor of the tacos. Service was quick!

Delicious. Weird location but yummy. We got the quesobirria with Barbacoa and A machete with Carnitas. The sauce service with each was also very good. Little pricey but what isn't these days. Both entrees had plenty of meat.
