The greens and fried catfish filet were sooooo good. I don't know how they're seasoning those greens but they were delicious. Also had the rib sandwich and it was okay. I think the ribs are baked instead of off the bbq grill which is fine if you like that. Order took about 15 minutes. The lady was very nice and she even brought my food outside because I waited in my car. I will definitely be going back.

My mom and I are born and raised in New Orleans so find catfish, greens, and fried okra that was so good. We loved the food and the lady that took our order was sweeter than peach cobbler that was my momma's favorite to finish off a great meal with.

Delicious, authentic, no-nonsense soul food. Lots of menu options. Great barbecue sauce. Highly recommend!

I never loved catfish til I had theirs! It's soooo tasty, along with their sides. The service is kinda and speedy, the only issue I've ever had was trying to get through on the phone (because they're on it so much taking orders ). The ambience is more of a pick up spot, but you can totally sit down if you want.

It's a decent soul food spot that feels homemade like my fathers/uncles/grandpa are cooking. The catfish and catfish nuggets were amazing. Nice and crispy yet fresh. The Mac was not my favorite. It's a great spot for food. I placed an order online that they did not receive, luckily there was not a long wait for them to make the food.

Small restaurant with about 6 tables. Lots of people ordering food to take out. Stood in line for a little while before being asked for our orders. Mind you, there were only two men working, so i didnt mind the wait. They were doing everything. Cooking, order taking, preparing the plates. Everything is served in to go containers by the way. All dinners come with two sides. Other meals include one side. Prices a little on high side but portion sizes are good. VERY good. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mac n cheese and greens. I really enjoyed all of it. Meals are served with plenty of sauces. My friends ordered the catfish fillet dinner with okra and mac n cheese and the other ordered catfish meal which came with fried catfish fillet and shrimp sides were fried okra and baked potato. You can see the portion sizes in pics below. No wonder they serve in to go boxes - its alot of food!! We all enjoyed our meal. Will go again. Hopefully they get more staff.

Ambiance suffers in the summer months - only fans and a single window size air conditioner are in use.Restaurant was closed on Saturday, June 29th. No notices posted.

I went a few times and the gizzards dam near pulled my teeth they were overcooked I was craving gizzards again so I gave them another try and then gizzards was good as hell.so I decided I wanted to get some last week the last who made them was so nice I gave her a tip.i got home and couldn't wait to try them .excuse my language but I was mad as fuck .I opened them up and they were burnt.i was so hungry I gave them a try what a disappointment.i wanted to take them back but I love near airport and they're in Aurora .I went next day which was Sunday n they were closed .I called but they NEVER answer so I wrote a note and mentioned what happened n ask if they could give me a new order.i only ate one of the.burnt they never responded.ill never go back

I called and placed my order 30 mins prior to my arriving for a 15min time frame...I wanted to give some extra time to make sure my order was ready....45 mins later having sat in the lobby that was dreadfully hot I began to feel lightheaded...and don't let me get started on all the flies that were let in from the outside because of the propped front door that did nothing for air flow of the restaurant. A woman had to rub her baby down with ice as she waited to pick up her order....Im disappointed because the woman who works very hard in the kitchen is so sweet...hopefully this will bring positive change

When this restaurant first opened it was very good. Had a bad experience a few months ago but decided to give them another chance. Ordered Pork ribs and Beef brisket. Ribs were ok. Not great. Beef Brisket tasted like a chuck roast pot roasted and smothered in barbecue sauce. Very mediocre. We threw half of it in garbage. Cole Slaw is excellent but portions stingy. Their Okra is good but should be because it is in season. Macaroni and Cheese did not taste fresh. Next time I will drive a little further to a place that is better or just go to one of the reliable chains.
