This place has great food, but you won't know because they're hardly ever open. Totally unreliable and the customer service is lacking.Yes, I understand it's a "small family business," but how are customers supposed to enjoy the business if you're never open, constantly out of items when you are, or unable to serve customers because you're short staffed? Also, how do you run out of pounded yam?! That's like an Asian restaurant running out of rice. It's always something and it's been like this forever based on the reviews. Maybe they have enough customers and are okay serving their current clientele because they have no interest in new customers...I can't even recommend this place to people I know because I can't guarantee that they'll even be able to try anything. Y'all need to do better and stop making excuses. People want to support you but can't.

Great place to get Nigerian food. They have the cutest food truck ever! Look for a RED food truck. They have their logo all over it, with a Facebook page and Instagram page on the side of it. They are one of the many hidden gem on wheels, in Aurora, CO. We ordered a couple of sides including the Large Meatpie, which was his easy to eat! SweetPepper Kitchen's "Nigerian meat pie" recipe will have you and your friends feeling like you've missed out; never thought Nigerian food consisted of different baked goods. The main ingredients are flour, butter, minced beef and potatoes. They have a sweet pounded yam and spinach soup which seemed to be one of their more popular choices. The family who own this food truck are very sweet and accommodating!

Food is delicious In response to @Kerssa K.Rice and Pounded yam are not the same just so you know, the preparation of authentic pounded yam needs pounding. Rice on the other hand can be cooked on the stove or in a rice cooker.
