I can't count the number of times I've driven by this place and said "I should really check them out" but it always looked closed. And that's because it was. This place is open from 5am to 11am. That's it. So by the time I remembered or when I wasn't in a rush to get somewhere, it was already closed. It also means that if you get there around 10am, there might not be a whole lot left. As was the case when I finally made. But I am sure glad that I did. This place is really good. Maybe a little too oily. But the donuts are great. The woman behind the counter was sweet and friendly and she even threw in an extra donut on my half dozen. I'm guessing because it was closing time soon and there were still several left. The place is a little small and not super fancy. There's not 100 different varieties of donuts. And you're not going to find Maple Bacon or Cap'n Crunch. Just your traditional cake and raised donuts. But they do them right. Not too rich. Not too sweet. There's room to sit and enjoy a coffee and a donut. And you're helping out local business. I definitely recommend it.

It's 630am, I have an early work day this day and I have had a hankerin' for a good Long John for at least 72 hours. I am not interested in some commercial product-pump-out place, so when I cruised past a big yellow DONUTS sign, I just had to stop! I cannot express how delicious this one Maple Bavarian-Creme filled pastry was, but suffice it to say never has a more tasty Eclair touched my lips. Mom & Pops know how to do it right!I would have given 5 stars but honestly the vibe at the time kinda creeped me out with no fault to the business, but I was the only one there talking (besides the nice woman at the counter) while a group of maybe 10 elderly women silently ate their donuts and stared at me from a large table in the shop.

I have been Searching for a local mom and pop doughnut shop. And Boy have i found it here. A husband and wife bakery, that is not only inexpensive but delicious. They offer to make me a vanilla long john, (yes just 1) just for me if i called them the day before. Just the sweetest couple making the sweetest doughnuts.

I am all about supporting small businesses and even more so since COVID. This place has amazing fresh soft donut. I called when I was about 10 minutes away and asked for a dozen donuts any kind. I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was very friendly and had the donuts ready for me when I got there. Go support small businesses and this is a great place for some donuts.

Probably the best local donut shop on the west side of Denver. The shop is very unassuming and the donuts are the basic, no frills variety. (No cereal/bacon/etc). They are excellently cooked. It perfectly fills the itch for a pre-work day donut. I drive out of my way to get these donuts during the week. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

I have spent years searching for the best donuts in Denver and my quest has finally come to an end. Sunlite is hands down the finest donut shop in the city. They have great hours with most days seeing them open until 5:00 pm. Unlike most donut places here they actually have donuts for you to buy in the middle of the afternoon; and not just donuts that have been sitting around on display all day but fresh baked melt in your mouth donuts! Their cake donuts can not be matched by anyone in this city. To top it all off the prices are incredibly affordable. If you're still making the trek to one of those other donut shops in Denver without giving this place a chance you are doing a huge disservice to your taste buds.
