The food is delicious and the sushi is always fresh. Our server Gina was a delight and was attentive to every need. Highly recommend sitting in her section for great conversation. The ambiance is relaxing and not noisy. Favorite sushi place in Longmont.

My friends and I decided to come here for my birthday dinner. We had probably some of the worst service I've ever experienced while dining. I decided to rate this place two stars over one purely because the food was good. Our waitress was very rude to us and refused to bring us dessert after we waited almost an hour for her to come back. It was so rude when the restaurant was not overly busy. Our waitress seemed almost like she hated us. We took a while to decide on our order, but that was the only thing we may have done to upset her. We placed large orders and didn't ask for anything superfluous so to receive this kind of treatment felt uncalled for. I don't think we'll be coming back, which is such a shame since the food was good and we enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant until our waitress started treating us so poorly.One friend ordered miso ramen and enjoyed it. The other friend and I ordered the Sumo Love Boat for two with the Hot Girl and Broncos rolls. The sushi chefs worked very hard and I appreciate their work in creating a beautiful experience.I am so incredibly sad that I didn't get to try the dessert. There were so many things on the dessert menu that sounded so good, but I unfortunately didn't get to try.

Best sushi I've had in years. Great ambiance, cozy, affordable , super huge rolls actually enough to get full on one roll! The service was great too. Friendly and patient while we asked questions. We'll be back, many times!

I like Sumo for a few reasons: great lunch specials, amazing fried rice, and decent sushi. That said, we were in yesterday and ordered a shrimp tempura roll. It was TINY. Like super tiny. And at $12 for a roll, I expect some substance. Luckily we ordered soup, salad, another roll, and a side of fried rice which filled us up. But I'll think twice about paying dinner prices for their rolls now...

Went here for the shoyu ramen, it was good, just not great; as I've tasted better. I wouldn't introduce this to someone for their first authentic ramen dish, to me this is more like a; "I want authentic ramen but nothing else is open; better than 99 cent ramen, but not better than high quality authentic ramen - kinda in between. Do not eat here, they do not want your money.Was here two weeks ago and ordered dim sum takeout. I returned today to do the same. The tide man up front (who was ride the last time I was there) told me they no longer allow dim sum for takeout. Spend your money at a place that actually appreciates your business and wants to serve you.

The food was awesome, there was a lot to choose from and a huge selection of sushi. The service was great- I tried a drink and planned on drinking it since it was my fault for ordering it but the waitress was super nice and offered to replace it for free and recommended a couple other drinks to try. It was just a very good experience all around
