Service at this restaurant is very good - friendly and welcoming staff! Unfortunately all of our food was served very cold and took a long time to come out; the pulled pork was extremely dry. We will try it again another time, but this visit definitely didn't live up to expectations set by previous reviews/ratings.

We were in the area and tried this place out as it had high ratings. We were not disappointed. I had the pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. Everything was SO flavorful. I used to live in Texas and those baked beans were to die for along with the BBQ which was a mix of sweet and spicy. My boyfriend got the chicken which was so tender and rich in flavor too! He also got the potato salad which was fantastic. We also shared the loaded fries! Which were great. That toast was SO GOOD- crispy, buttery, melt in your mouth good. The Mac n cheese I would say was our least favorite, it was good, but I would definitely go for the beans or potato salad for the sides. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we may have found our new place. ALSO, so cute you can play cornhole or connect for while waiting :)People: very friendly and nice.

The food was delicious! So much bang for your buck that we had leftovers to bring home. Everything is properly spicy and seasoned, and really hits the itch for BBQ. While it's a counter-order kind of place, there's a big empty room in the building right outside the restaurant where you can eat. There's even cornhole to play in the meantime! While I'm a bit biased since my mother in law is the family friend of one of the owner's relatives (we all chatted for a bit), the service was great and quick. It's worth the drive further from Denver!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Bbq spot inside a run down movie theater! When I first walked in, despite the outside appearance, it was so smoky I knew the meats would taste gooood! The service was great! The cashier in the front explained everything, especially since it was my first time here! She mentioned the fried chicken special on Sundays-- honestly I would just get that! The ribs were ok. They really needed to be cooked for longer bc they were not fall off the bone tender. These ribs brought down my rating bc I was expecting some good ribs! The collard greens were honestly my FAVORITE part of the meal. I could eat those allll day! The seasoning and lemony zest and if I could get that recipe I'd eat all my veggie intake every single day!! I'm just visiting so I don't think I'll return but if you're looking for decent bbq, with great service, come here! They have seating in the hall space area outside of their shop.

Google maps sent me to the backside of the closed Elvis Cinema building, when the restaurant is easily found just inside the main entrance of the old movie theater. This is by far, my favorite restaurant find in years. I think its okay to call it what it is....a little dive spot. And I love a good dive! And I think the real Elvis would have loved this place too! Its a funky location, with no frills but the food will knock your socks off! The moment I opened the doors I was whisk back in time to my favorite Texas Bbq joint that was lost in a major fire in 1983. (Does anyone remember Penny Pinchers Bbq in North Dallas?)Stuboy's now has the distinction of making my favorite french fries of any restaurant in Colorado! I'm a french fry snob and I love these perfectly cooked fries! My Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was a flavor explosion, overflowing with spicy chicken (but not for sissies, my eyes were watering) and topped with fresh coleslaw and the perfect bun! Boom! Stuboy's got everything right! I'm planning my next visit on a Sunday so I can get a bucket of fried chicken for my family. (Fried chicken buckets are only available on Sundays). I promise you, you won't be sorry if you give this new lil' restaurant a try, its family run and total quality, through and through, I hope when they get big and famous that they hold onto this funky dive vibe. I can't wait to tell all my Texas transplant friends and family. The six to eight tables in the old theater atrium filled up fast but were the perfect place to fully enjoy the delicious food hot and fresh from the kitchen. As I write this review, its a Saturday.......only one more day until I can go grab my bucket of fried chicken!

My wife loves fried chicken and I have been waiting for the stars to align between Stuboys Sunday only fried chicken and my wife's craving. Well it finally happened so we went to the joint to check it out. It's a tiny counter only place in the Old Elvis Movie theater building. Total family owned business with Mom, Dad and daughter. You can actually eat in but it's only a few tables in the atrium. At 3pm they were out of ribs and brisket. We were there primarily for the fried chicken anyway. Well the chicken did not disappoint and we got the family meal which is 8 pieces of chicken, 2 16oz sides and Texas toast. I tried the smoked wings with the dry rub. Tasty wings with a a bit of a sweet rub and good smoked flavor. The cost was 5 for 6.50. My order had wings that I thought were smaller than normal. The collard greens had amazing flavor and the fries were yummy. The chicken was sensational with a great crispness and tamed down herb flavor. Can't wait to try some BBQ next time.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Stuboys BBQ, and it was nothing short of amazing! The food was incredibly flavorful, with tender, juicy meats that were perfectly smoked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a treat, and the sides were just as memorable--clearly made with care and attention to detail. If you're a BBQ lover, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for more!"

It's Friday, the beginning of their week. Ordered a hot link sandwich. They don't have any today. Ordered brisket sandwich and cole slaw with an addl side of greens. No greens because something about the onions. Brisket was dry with mostly gristle and the cole slaw had no dressing on it. Been wanting to try this place for a long long time and this was a real disappointment.Service was great and friendly.

The fried chicken...good Lord! Crispy crackly goodness with a moist, tender interior, served piping hot. It's only available on Sundays and it's definitely worth the trip. All of the sides were really good too- generous portions seasoned well. We can't wait to go back to try the smoked meats but not on a Sunday because there is no possible way we would be able to turn down that fried chicken!!Warm and welcoming family running the biz was just the cherry on top. Thanks for the wonderful meal Stuboys!
