Strasburg Family BBQ

My 300th review! For no other than our local BBQ joint! I work for a local EMS agency and this a common stop for us. Every once and while someone may even pay for our food as well, for which I am very grateful. #smalltownloveThe food here is good - honestly the burgers and okra are my favorite. They have good BBQ sauces as well. I am glad this little place is here and I am sure I am will be back many times :)

These people may just be the nicest folks on the planet. And, oh yeah, the food is amazing. The owner brought out a sample of the St Louis ribs, which were phenomenal! We also ordered the beef brisket, pulled pork, and chicken - all of which were really good. (I'm from Nashville, so I know my BBQ.) There are a variety of sauces depending on your style - Kansas City, Texas, or Carolina. Our weirdo son ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger (?!?) which, to our surprise, was also yummy. Their beans are unique and homemade and the service is super friendly. What a great surprise!B O T T O M L I N E :Go and go hungry!

Not cheap, and when I first opened my box after getting back to my camper, I felt cheated. But after I ate it all, I realized there was more food in there than I initially thought. And it WAS good! I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of baked beans (NOM!) and hubby had the pulled chicken with a side of macaroni and cheese (EH...). The sauce they give with the meals is AWESOME! All in all, a really handy place to have within walking distance of the RV park.

We were staying at the KOA right next door. We went there for dinner, had BBQ chicken sandwiches, and sides consisting of Baked Beans, Fried Okra, Macaroni and Cheese, and Creamy Cole Slaw. All the food and sides were excellent and the staff was outstanding.

The food is awesome. The staff is so sweet. I like they are only open weekends. It makes you want it more when the weekend comes

Great slabs of ribs, pulled pork, sausage and plus the Okra is good too we haven't eaten there only take out

those beans, ribs and chicken. Legit. If you find yourself in Strasberg for some reason and it's before 6 on a weekend, please visityou will not be disappointed.

It is pretty good for a whole family but for two people you shouldn't go. The food is good depending on what you got I got hair in my food

I ordered the pulled chicken and it looks like chopped chicken bung. It's disgusting. The waitress was very nice and suggested replacing it with brisket, which she did, which we gave to our dog. The Mac-n-cheese was great, as was the corn bread and garlic bread and hot wings. My wife had the baked beans and swears there the best in a category of their own. They don't BBQ on site. They told us they buy it from a food distributor and warm it up for the customer. Ewwwww
