Spicy Asian Restaurant

I've been living in Colorado now for 3ish years. I've tried every single Chinese food place you can find. It's possibly my favorite food. I have been so disappointed up until I discovered Spicy Asian. If you like the NY style Chinese take out this is you spot. Their delivery does take a while so I highly recommend carry out. They were very nice and on time, and gave us a coupon as well so I would say the service is great.

I have placed a few online orders with this restaurant, and they ALWAYS cancel it. In the past, I have just replaced the order over the phone, fyi the total is always more expensive when you order in person or over the phone. I have asked them about this before, and they state they don't control the prices listed on DD, Uber, Yelp, etc. I have worked at a restaurant that used all these online ordering services and know this is not true. Today I placed an order over DD for delivery. I order sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. A few minutes after placing the order, I was notified they cancelled it. I called to see why, and was told they were out of everything I order. Yes, they are out of fried rice. I called back about 3 minutes later to place an order, to see what they would say. And to my surprise, they now had sweet & sour chicken and fried rice!!! Who knew that could get delivered within 3 minutes!! We went back and forth for a while trying to clarify what is going on and why I was lied to on the previous call, eventually she laughed and hung up. All in all, they will cancel online orders and lie to you about the reasoning, or flat out lie that they ever received it (this happened on a separate occasion). It is a shame, they do have great food. Oh well

I like coming to this place because it has reasonable prices and the food is good. The little girl who works the front is really sweet and good at her job. The other reviews seem a bit harsh, remember it's a mom n pop Chinese joint.

Maybe not the best Chinese food in Denver but definitely good for a quick and easy meal. Most dishes are Americanized - eg, the mapo tofu is not particularly spicy despite being labeled as such. The seafood hot and sour soup was good and satisfying. The salt and pepper tofu was okay... it probably would have been crispier if we had dined in rather than ordered takeout.

Good prices and portions you get your monies worth. Chicken Sesame a bit spicy but good. Tried the Moo Shu Vegetables very tasty.We used takeout and they forgot the egg rolls but we did get tortilla shells at a Asian restaurant. lol

Sat on hold for 20 minutes and no one picked up. Tried calling back for 10 minutes and it goes straight to voicemail every time. I think they just turned their phones off so they don't have to take any more orders. The website wants you to make an account to order food. Save your time.....Update, they did turn the phones off and left me on hold. Awful service!!!

Spicy Asian is our go-to Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh and full of flavor! With our most recent order we got the sweet and sour combo, shrimp rice noodles and chicken broccoli. Teriyaki chicken is one of our favorites too. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because sometimes their delivery times are very long, especially on weekends. I have called and had them say, "1.5 hours okay?" I think they only have one delivery driver. It's not a big deal, we just try to avoid ordering on Friday and Saturday nights. Another thing to note, they have a website and their online ordering system is super easy to use!

What horrible food. Service even worse. Couldn't get my order right and STILL refused to refund my credit card. The basil rice was not edible. ANYPLACE is better then there.

This review is entirely dependent on who you get at the register. If it's one of the young Hispanic girls, they are very sweet. But if it's the middle-aged Asian woman, then watch out. I literally got screamed at today for paying cash. Sorry that I didn't provide you with a credit card number to steal (see other reviews), but I guess you'll just have to find a different victim!

It was a long wait for food thinking that the food would be fresh and amazing. Food was fresh but just shy of amazing. The only thing I would recommend would be the orange chicken, other than that don't bother.Very nice staff, will never go there again.
