Smashburger

I came here for lunch today. It was my first visit to a Smashburger at this location in my opinion this was hands-down, the best Smashburger experience I've ever had the burger was picture perfect the fries were hot and crisp. The gluten-free bun was fresh, and the service was friendly. Next time I go to Smashburger it will be here.8/29/2023Came back today to double check. YEP! Great customer service today by a very nice young man 4/27/24. Do not let this guy go! Move him to msnagement!

I was never a fast food chain kind of a person... until I moved to Broomfield. This is my daughter's favorite place to eat so we come here more often than I'd like to admit. (Maybe once a month lol) The service is very slow as there are never more than three employees working here at a time. That said, I come in knowing that and have found the staff to be incredibly kind and helpful especially when dealing with me and my celiac/gluten allergy. If you have to order gluten free/ this is the only burger bun worth paying extra for. Bottom line- for a fast food burger this is likely the best you can get around here. Service is comparable to Freddie's (aka very slow) but I have found that as long as you are kind to the overloaded staff, they are kind right back. They also make a pretty good shake!

The black bean burger was great. The fries were wonderful. No complaints here. Just your typical walk up and order style restaurant

DoorDash order. Fries were cold, drink was 3/4 full, burger was a wet ball of mush and completely inedible. Worst Smashburger experience ever.

Great food and friendly staff. They fulfilled my wife's special request to have the lettuce and tomato package separately so that we could warm the burger up when we got home more easily. Looking forward to our next visit.

This review is more about Smashburgers' in general rather than 144th in particular, but what I say applies to this one as well. Every one of these locations I've been to, about 5 different stores, suffers from the same issues. When they are on-point, the burgers are excellent. Unfortunately, at least in my experience, they are seldom on their game. Frequently under-staffed (even before the pandemic and G.R.) and because of this the stores are typically in bad shape (dirty, guest trash everywhere), extremely slow, and the food quality suffers. None of which I blame on the poor souls that work there - all of which look universally miserable. I remember when the Westminster Promenade location first opened my family had such a bad experience there I wrote Corporate - and never even received a response. What is it about the corporate culture of the chain and/or operations that produce such a mess? Honestly, they absolutely don't seem to care about their stores at all. There are as-good burgers and better experiences to be had - I'd pass.

3/3 times can't get a simple cheeseburger right. It's sad and can one up on the fries usually being half full. Love this chain but this location is falling about due to the employees.

The young lady cashier has a very wonderful outstanding services when it comes to taking your order she is very respectful and helps you out and doesn't try to rush you while talking your order i say one of the best experiences in the fast food industry!! Don't loose this girllll

Found plastic shards in one of our burgers tonight, and they were both room temp disappointed in tonight visit.
