Smashburger

Normally I make a quick pit stop by smashburger for their breakfast .. which always hits the spot. However, this time breakfast was no longer being served so I went with the single smash burger with fries. For context, I am a BURGER guy! All day any day and twice on Sunday. But not this time. The burger was dry, the bread was hard and it just wasn't it. Moral of the story, get there early for breakfast !

Improve food quality, food temperature, stale buns, cold fries, cold burger, rude employees.Why did I have to wait ten minutes after I ordered to get my order, and when I did everything was cold?This was my first time trying this place and will be my last. Sad to say McDonald's does a better job at serving hot food and fries. This place had the audacity to ask for a tip for a togo order and rude service.

After realizing my Priority Pass no longer works at restaurants, I selected Smashburger for a late lunch/early dinner when passing through the Denver Airport last month.I ordered the classic Smashburger with Smashfries. The fries were great - crispy and well-seasoned, just like way I like them - but the burger was just okay. Turns out, I'm not a huge fan of smash-style burgers since I prefer mine a bit thicker and juicier. I guess that's more of a personal preference though rather than an issue with the food itself.The restaurant was surprisingly busy, even at 4pm on a Monday although it was a holiday so I guess that makes sense. My server, Kathleen, was great and kept things moving pretty efficiently. Prices were reasonable for airport dining, but overall, the food was just average. If you're a fan of smash-style burgers, you'll probably enjoy it more than I did!

Avoid if possible. But maybe the smash burger gods were punishing me for ordering a crispy chicken smash burger?! The picture on their video menu looked better than their hamburger.There was nothing "crispy" about it and it was very, very salty. Condiments come in a separate plastic baggie with no sauce at all. Would have tossed it except for it cost me $20 and I was in a rush to make a connecting flight.Fries were just ok.Pass, not smash.

Quick fast food in the evening at DIA had made me wonder if I should had just skipped indulging myself tonight.I ordered a Bacon Stack Smash and substitute the fries for tots. Tots were normal, but that burger...all toppings were missing and the burger was super over cooked. Ended up splashing some ketchup on it and just forced it down.Overall...just skip this spot. There are new joints to try in the area after renovation.

Stopped in on the way to the gate. I had mt heart set on the smash fries but the fryer was down! So sad. Ordered a bacon smash it came with chips.It was super crowded but what isn't during the holidays in the airport. We were seated pretty quickly and the food came out in about 25min. It was cold sent it back

Not quite a 1 star experience, but pretty darned close. WAY OVERPRICED Smash Burger. I totally understand that food at the airport is going to be expensive, but it should at least be as good or comparable to what you'd get at a brick and mortar location. The burger was luke warm and the fries were cold and bland. Hey...how about a shake of salt??? They do this weird to g where the lettuce, tomatoes and onions are in a baggie in the side? What?No sauce??? What's that about?There are many other options for food at this airport. I won't ever be back here again!

Ordered the double burger. Nothing special.Service: took 25 min to receive my food.Ambiance: inside the airport there is really no place to stand when waiting for food. Can't hear your number called out. Have to rub elbows to pick up food.It will do in a pinch.. but not worth the wait.

I had a good experience here the food was good and the waitress was helpful- I got an original smash burger and tots and both were cooked well and delicious- the tots were perfectly seasoned. They had an issue with the card swiper but it was taken care of in time for my flight- There is a bar and seats inside- it's well lit and gives a cheers vibe

My boyfriend's family recommended this place to me on their last layover in Denver. We went together for a quick stop before our next flight and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and quickness of service/preparation of food in an airport! We just quickly ordered in line and ate by our gate, but there seemed to be a good amount of seating and some TVs inside. The decor was very on brand and looked well-kept.The burgers were great. I got the truffle swiss mushroom burger -- it had just the right amount of everything, including truffle, which tends to be overpowering in most cases but was perfect in this burger! We also got the tater tots, which were super crispy and were seasoned with rosemary! Not many places do that but that seasoning was absolutely superb.Some notes of improvement would be that the side of fries that come with each entree get a bit soggy fast (the tater tots stayed crispy the whole time). My boyfriend liked the chicken sandwich but it was a bit too salty and dry. My boyfriend's brother liked the bun, but thought that the bacon could be crispier and overall the burger could've been warmer. All in all, I think that this place was a really great spot to hit, especially in an airport, and I'd go again! The quality is just exceptional for airport food but it was a bit expensive, as things in airports tend to be.
