Skippy's Bar and Grill

What an amazing find in SE Denver! We were searching for a sports bar with food after a round of golf at Kennedy, and Skippy's popped up on our radar.. so glad it did! Located off Iliffe with a good size parking lot, Skippy's is convenient to Hampden/25 area too. The place is so clean, surprisingly spotless for a sports bar, so that's a huge plus! Joelle (bartender) and Laney (server) are so sweet & attentive. If only this spot was close to downtown, I'd be here too often ;) and they have NFL ticket so that's a huge plus!The drinks are great & food is on point. They have lots of daily specials for drinks & usually good specials during the week too. The green chili can be ordered mild, medium or spicy, and it's sooo good! The chips are housemade & the salsa or queso are great starters. The burgers are great & good value too.You won't be disappointed if you find yourself here on a game day or after a round of golf!

Bartenders are great staff is great atmosphere is great food is subpar or they get five stars

I still love going to this place to watch live sports. Sunday mornings they have all of the 11am NFL games on. Most places get maybe 1 or 2. The screens are big and the service is usually pretty good. They have a decent variety of beers on tap and a full bar. The food is typically pretty good also. I tried their breakfast for the first time and it was delicious and decently priced. They offer bottomless mimosas on Sunday mornings too. Overall good sports bar.

Not a bad local dive bar near work and home. Happy hour prices are pretty damn cheap which we like after a long day at work! Staff here are always very nice and accommodating. Service is usually quick. Food is normally good. They are clean and there's plenty of seating inside and out. We haven't had any issues when we've gone and will Continue to stop in!

Went here for a burger, not disappointed! Tons of TVs, great atmosphere (Nuggets playoff game), fast and friendly service, good food, and cheap prices. Specials every day, so plenty of options for keeping a low tab. Don't be discouraged by the blah shopping center, this place is a hidden gem.

This place is nice, I've been a a few times now, and it hasn't disappointed. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. They also have different deals every day. They have 4.5 deep eddy's, 3-5 dollar shots, 5-6 dollar margaritas, 3 dollars wells and domestic beers. Service is friendly and they do have table service. A few times we at these little booths and the severs were attentive but not overbearing. The bar is nice and they have a lot of tvs, so definitely come earlier on Sunday if you want to watch the games at the bar.

Everything about this place is amazing ! It's clean it's friendly it's airy and has many tvs the patio is cute too they have video games and amazing food I have tried many things there and it's always good ! But to top it all off I'd the staff ! They are the nicest most efficient and beautiful servers ever I have compassion for my handicap group. I bring in there unannounced and huge groups, and they handle us with ease and kindness. They are very accurate with their checks and refilling drinks. I have a special place for Lindsey the sweetest little waitress that was not concerned about her tip as much as she was helping my special needs group, I adore her and today while I was there, I got the pleasure of meeting Brigette who is also amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone please go give it a try.

Good local sports bar, tasty food, cold beer, lots of TVs, efficient and expedient serviceI go here because it's close, and it's become my local go to.

Ordered a caesar salad and honestly it's an insult with 5 croutons on it. It's all old and browned lettuce, no dressing, maaayyybe some parmesan cheese. Also ordered some onion rings and those were good, but still upsetting I spent money on this. Picture is exactly what it looked like when I opened the container....

Good food, good beer, good service. Definitely a bit divey, but I'm here for it. The staff are always friendly.
