Simms Steakhouse's Sunday Brunch is absolutely wonderful! From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance, cozy fireplace, and stunning view of Denver create a welcoming atmosphere. We always request a table by the windows to take in the view, and it has never been an issue. The service is outstanding, and the brunch buffet offers everything you could want. From made-to-order waffles, pancakes, and omelets to prime rib, snow crab, and a shrimp station, the selection is impressive. You'll also find bagels with lox and all the classic brunch staples. The food is consistently fresh, replenished promptly, and even the eggs benedict on the buffet are always cooked just right. Always a treat and never disappointing!

Sims is a great steakhouse and the service was impressive. The food was great excellent and the view is a reason for visiting alone. Going with a group helped us try each other's food. We ordered 2 order of the seared Ahi appetizer, shrimp cocktail, a few wedge salads, lobster bisque soup, French onion soup, a few prime ribs, a few rib eyes, salmon, and a few drinks.I will be coming back for special occasions.

A very nice place for a special occasion! I went here for the first time with some friends to celebrate the holidays. We had a few appetizers and 3 people got different steaks whereas I got salmon. All the food was really tasty. It is very heavy though- lots of butter! And definitely on the pricier side. The service was very good and helpful when we had questions.

We had a top-notch experience all around. I took a group of clients for dinner, we landed on Wednesday, which is half price bottles of wine. A convenient perk we were unaware of. We had a beef short rib on bone marrow appetizer that was exceptional. My steak was cooked perfectly as where everybody else's. It's a simple understated, elegant vibe in the restaurant. We had the corner table and a fantastic view looking east. Our waitress was fantastic and attentive, will become a staple for business dinners when in town.

Went to Simms Steakhouse for dinner on a Monday. It wasn't too busy and we got good seating for a small group of folks with a good view. With our group, plenty of appetizers and sides were ordered. I stuck with the bacon, but heard from the group that all of the other appetizers were delicious. For the main course, I went with the NY strip with a side of bearnaise sauce. Steak was cooked per requested, but the cut didn't taste as the price would suggest including a bit too fatty. For sides (no photos), we ordered the mac n cheese, broccolini, asparagus, scallop potatoes, and fries. I would say to skip them all except for the scallop potatoes and fries. The mac n cheese was not cheesy at all. Broccolini and asparagus were still a bit hard and didn't have any flavor as it seemed just steamed. The sad part was the sides came out super late after all the entrees came out so didn't really had sides to go with our meal.Overall, it was a good experience. I would go again to check out the view during day time and maybe try their lunch menu.

Woof. Should have just looked at the reviews to know this maybe wasn't the best place for a birthday dinner but it had been recommended by tons of colleagues so we gave it a go. I'm thankful this was on my company's dime as I would have been pretty upset had I paid myself. Vibes - Outside? Lovely. Wish the patio faced the mountains vs the city of Denver but from the deck the views are great and there is plenty of shade. Inside? So old haha I literally was like, "what year is it?" It feels as though the dining room hasn't been updated since the early 2000s or later with older lighting fixtures, carpet and seating. Service - The gal who served us was really nice and timely but she continued to mention how she had come from somewhere like Gunther Toodys (I dont actually remember where) and wasnt allowed to sing birthday songs, etc.. She also didnt know how to do table bottle service and was opening the bottle against her body. If this werent a steakhouse, I wouldnt have minded but at a steakhouse, you hope to see good bottle service at the table. Food - YIKES. I ordered salmon which was actually very tasty and quite the surprise since they're a steak house, supposedly known for that. However, the two folks with me ordered steaks blue and rare that were both over cooked. We also ordered calamari that came on a wet bed of green beans (they were fine but a weird pairing with fried calamari) with a sweet and sour sauce that didnt compliment the calamari flavors in any way. I also ordered an Old Fashioned that literally had two entire peeled orange wedges in it with straight bourbon. As in, there was no bitters, no simple, no garnish -- literally the only things needed for an old fashioned. We also got two bottles of wine but of course, not hard to mess those up since they come to ya via the bev. manger. Turned out to be $500 for three people with bad food.

Came here for Father's Day. This restaurant is on a side of a hill with a spectacular view. How am I going to maneuver a wheelchair up this hill? No worries, they provide complementary parking which makes it an extra special event.Entering the restaurant provides a spectular view. We ordered a delicious Simms salad. The fried calamiri came with a surprise bed of healthy beans! Less guilt for eating this appetizer. We were then treated to complimentary homemade fresh hot bread! We ordered the most delicious fish dish I have ever had. The roasted miso sea bass was tender, flaky and not over cooked. This was accompanied by sticky rice and baby bok chiy. Our server Bailey provided attentive excellent service. I will be back.

This has been an institution for many years. Location and view are wonderful. Staff is nice. I'm not sure about the award winning menu...this is a review of the Mothers Day Brunch. We were seated downstairs, inside but on on outdoor furniture - very uncomfortable chairs. After climbing stairs and moving through a crowded dining area, the first food you are presented with in the buffet is a table of marshmallows, rice crispy treats, sad strawberries and chocolate sauce...Another table is filled with staples from a family picnic - macaroni salad, deviled eggs, cheap bread rolls...I was amazed. $60 per head? Someone is laughing all the way to bank. The "mains" included tri-tip which was so tough it was barely edible ( and could never cut through it with the provided butter knives), barbecue chicken pieces, bacon, maple sausage, au gratin potatoes, overcooked scrambled eggs, sorry looking crab legs, flavorless eggs Benedict that sat too long...Brunch buffets are hard to do well. This was subpar to poor. Basics like coffee service was super slow, and the dessert bar was...sad. No labels, just strewn with bite sized unidentifiable pieces of sugar. Really wish we had gone elsewhere this year. Sorry Simms! Stick to what you do well...

What a truly great dining experience! Waitress did an amazing job and even got me my end piece of Prime Rib I asked for! Baked potato was made to perfection and the Calamari was some of the best I've had with a zing to it! Establishment was spotless and decor first class. The views, BTW, are great, s hit up a window seat if making reservations. This is a for sure must stop!

So we look very it here and want to give kudos to all staff including our server Jackson. So good I popped my head in to the kitchen / staff and gave kudos. The only issue I really have is I asked to talk to the manager to give a good review to Jackson. He told me thanks but said if I gave him a review on yelp he would buy him dinner.Thought that was a bit lame from a mangers. I told you he was awesome you should take care of him without a yelp promotion. Sorry but take care of him on my word not from a promotion to the restaurant.Great staff. I think manager needs to learn from this
