It's been a while since I've added something to my list of favorite dishes to order in Denver. I was looking for something new at Junction Food & Drink, since I was working out of the coworking space next-door. The photos of Shwarma Shack caught my eye, so I ordered the Lamb Loaded Fries. Tastes even BETTER than it looks, which is saying something because the dish is extremely colorful and packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Service is friendly and super fast. As much as I like the other vendors at Junction, this specific dish has now become my go-to whenever I'm dining in the area.

I was in the area around lunch time recently and decided to stop in and check Junction food hall out. Of course if I see Shawarma I am always gravitating right to that.It was hard to choose what to get because I wanted it all; I decided not to be a fatty and get fries and a bowl; but I certainly considered it for a minute for the gram. Decided on a lamb shawarma bowl and got that bad boy fully loaded: rice, hummus, lettuce, pickled onion, tzatziki, chickpeas you name it! It had really good flavors, but I was a bit surprised that the meat was more stewed than like off the spit gyro type meat I was expecting. Still very good. Sadly they were out of Baklava so I can't comment on one of my favorite sweets but maybe next time.

Won't go here again. The shawarma I had for lunch was watery. It was the worse I have ever had. It was flavored and I couldn't taste the lamb.

I saw some reviews for this place on the Junction Food and Drink Yelp page. The pictures really drew us in along with the Shwarma kick we have been on since our trip to Israel this year. I believe it was Willie who was helping to take our orders and cranking out the lamb. He was very friendly and quick with the food. It took less than ten minutes to get our order. We ordered the Lamb Loaded Fries. They featured olives, sumac onions, tabbouleh, feta, & labneh harissa. This was an explosion of flavors, all complementing each other. Please be careful if you are sensitive to spice. The Harissa does add a good amount of heat to the dish. Honestly, my words do no justice in trying to explain how good it is. Look at the picture, get in your car, and try these fries.

I got the falafel wrap. Falafels cooked fresh to order, nice variety of toppings, then they wrap the flatbread up around everything and warm it in a panini press. No complaints, hit the spot after seeing a movie at the UA Center. I'll go back and explore the menu a bit more.

Shwarma Shack is located in the Junction Food and Drink Hall. I ordered the Lamb Loaded Fries which consists of olives, sumac onions, tabbouleh, cucumber, tomato, pepperoncini, feta & labneh harissa. When I went to pickup this dish, it was huge- easily enough to split with a few people. The lamb had great flavor and I loved all the super fresh toppings! My only critique was that the fries could have been cooked a little longer- they were definitely a little undercooked. Other than that, the dish was great.

This is some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and deliciousness of the food. I enjoyed the hummus, pita, and a meat gyro. I highly recommend. I'll be back!
