Shuggs BBQ

The owner of this food truck is an amazing guy. I was walking by this food truck at the Ken Caryle Ranch House today, and he gave me a sample of the brisket for my rescue Great Pyrenees who was stressed out from her vet appointment.I asked for a small single bite or a piece that he couldn't sell, so I could treat her and help her calm down. He went out of his way to give her a large portion of amazing food and said it was on the house when I offered to pay.The owner of this food truck is a great guy and the food was top notch. I took a few bites of the food before letting my pup chow down and he makes great BBQ.The brisket was moist with a solid bark and I would have paid full price for the portion he gave away for free. This is the quality of food you would get at a BBQ competition.The menu here looks amazing and I would come back here no questions asked.

Food was lukewarm at best. We got the pulled pork plate and pulled pork sliders. Nothing was seasoned, it all tasted incredibly bland. The most flavorful (and warm) thing was the French fries, but they were way too salty. Overpriced for quality.

Portion size on loaded mac. (Left: small bag of Doritos, Right: $15 loaded Mac) 3 stars because the food itself is tasty and my apt complex paid for it.

Food was served relatively quickly, and was nice and hot. I had a pulled pork slider with crispy fries, and my wife had the beef brisket dinner with Mac & cheese and green beans. All of the food had great flavor, and the service was friendly. I'd eat Shugg's again anytime!

cold iceberg lettuce on top of mac n cheese... not a great pairing. Food was luke warm after it was handed to me.

The loaded fries hit the spot! The brisket was delicious and tender and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I don't normally eat beans but the beans on the loaded fries were bomb. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly.

terrible experience.. ran out of food twice.. didn't intially bring us what was on the agreed menu and had to go back and get the chicken that was supposed to be on offer.. came back an hour after they were supposed to and the chicken was gristly with some weird sauce on it . then they ran out of ribs so could only offer the bad chicken.. didn't want to stay until all my staff got here and since the food they had left was subpar we cut them loose and got take out from brothers bbq which was execellent.. and $15.00 per person was way overpriced..don't waste your time or money
