Shanghai Garden is hands down the best authentic Chinese food in Centennial! This family-owned gem has been serving the community for over 40 years, and it's easy to see why it's so beloved. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with incredible service and a spotless, welcoming atmosphere. Every dish is made with care and tradition, and it shows. I had the pleasure of trying their crispy, hand-rolled egg rolls filled with perfectly seasoned pork and cabbage, paired with their signature sweet & sour sauce--it was divine. The Mongolian Beef featuring their stir-fried marinated prime beef with onions, scallions, and black pepper was tender and bursting with flavor. The wok-tossed Lo Men noodles sautéed with fresh onions, carrots, and your choice of protein were absolutely delicious. To top it all off, I enjoyed a Pina Colada and a Mai Thai from their full bar, which has a great selection of cocktails, wine, beer, and even non-alcoholic options. Thank you for such an amazing experience--can't wait to return for more! Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional Chinese cuisine.

We mostly order take out and everyone is always super nice and it's so cute inside we decided to have a family date night and dine in. The server and wait staff was so attentive and also very sweet to our children. The food was great. We're always really happy with the quality of the food. I usually order cashew chicken, but wanted something different and tried the udon noodles and really loved it. It had a good variety of veggies and just a little kick to it. Out of everything we've tried the only miss is the egg rolls. I love the wonton soup- they make it with thick shells which is what I grew up on and hard to find.

For $20 Very large serving size of lemon chicken, yummy sauce and 2 small "trees" of broccoli. $2.00 extra for rice and $2.00 extra for tea. Good service and clean, but won't be returning. Too expensive:(

The orange chicken is fantastic with the fresh orange peal. The chow mein was a good complement to the tangy orange. Chinese new year is busy !

We just discovered this place although it's been there for many years. We almost didn't get there because I got lost. But we found it and we were very happy we did. The food was very good, perfectly prepared and very taste. We were seated very fast, received side plates and water quickly. Then given plenty of time to consider the options. So many choices and they all looked good. We ordered and were served without a long wait. The restaurant is clean and neat. The servers were clean and neat. On the way out I stopped to speak to a couple of ladies, who I assumed had been there before. I was correct. They were regulars. They told me everything was always great there at the Shanghai Garden. I'm convinced. We'll be back. I think we've discovered a very good Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend the Shanghai Garden restaurant.

If you're from California you will love Shanghai Garden. It's the closest taste I could find to what I'm used to. The egg rolls are big a crunchy, the noodles are a little smoky, and all their dishes have the best sauces. I used to come here a few years ago and the portions were really small and the price was really big. I think they have fixed that problem because we had plenty of food and two more meals to take home. The service is great, same owner as always and she is very pleasant. I didn't like the comfort of their booths, the back of the booth hits your back at a weird place and I was sitting straight up. Tables were great! I'll be getting the orange beef every visit! So good, sweet and a little spicy with a nice crunch.

I give Shanghai Garden a one-star rating only because one-fifth-of-a-star isn't an option. I attempted to dine there just once - an out-of-town guest wanted Chinese on Christmas Eve - so I placed an online order and scheduled a pickup time of 5:45. I arrived at exactly the designated time but was told my order would be ready in a half hour...One hour and forty-five minutes later - it was now 7:30 - I was able to flag down a person to check the status of my order, and was informed that it would be another half hour! The same story was repeated by many patrons cramming the bar area and entryway, some of which reported a three-hour wait. I finally received a refund, but they wouldn't have refunded my online tip had I not caught it on the receipt.I would imagine the food at Shanghai Garden is good enough to attract so much business, but to be so spectacularly unprepared (sidebar: they also ran out of beef during my wait) on a holiday is inexcusable. Anyone choosing to dine at Shanghai Garden will simply be rewarding incompetence.
