Seasoned Swine BBQ

It was soooo casual yet very delicious!! The food was brought out quickly and the staff were friendly. My burnt ends were perfect: tender. Margarita on the rocks was tasty. I'd definitely come back. Visiting from Texas and I approve! Thank you!!Blessings

On a lovely fall day, we wanted some bbq and decided to check out this wonderful find on W. Colfax in Golden. They have a nice patio, though it was a bit windy so we enjoyed our food inside. It's very casual, but comfortable.We ordered the Meathead to share, along with four ribs (you can order individually). We chose the beans and potato salad as our sides. All of it was very very tasty. The meat in the sandwich (prime brisket and pulled pork) was fantastic. The sauces were up to the task as well -- very tasty. We actually ordered the ribs as an afterthought after talking briefly with another customer about their ribs -- and we didn't have to order a whole rack. I'm so glad we did because they were equally as good. The staff was very helpful in all our decision-making.Look forward to a revisit soon!

9/6/24 My husband and I along with our large group of friends came here for lunch. We were able to order and get seated quickly. Seasoned Swine is a hidden gem for quick and delicious BBQ! We ordered the brisket nachos, burnt ends, spicy slaw, and banana pudding, and everything was fantastic. The brisket nachos were loaded with so much flavor, and the burnt ends were perfectly tender. The spicy slaw was a bit too hot for us, but it was a fun twist on the usual coleslaw. The real star of our lunch was most definitely The banana pudding--absolutely a must-try! The laid-back ambiance is perfect for relaxing, with plenty of room for larger groups. We'll definitely be back when in Colorado next time.

Five stars do not do this place justice.Colorado's Crown King of Smoked Meats is a better fit. Add a championship belt, and you have it. If you're thinking about BBQ and reading this right now, the best thing you can do is just stop, and go try it.It's like prioritizing children, but my favorites are the ribs, burnt ends, and macaroni and cheese. However, it is all great. What it is you like, they nail it. And if you're the bold type, ask for extra "Swine Candy."Parking is great. The restaurant is always immaculate. And the staff is second to none. You get your food fast, and it is always right. Why are you still reading?!! Go now! :-D

Recently had an opportunity to try Seasoned Swine in Golden. Be aware, location is not ADA friendly. We decided to try the Swinoceros because we wanted to get an idea for their bbq options. This comes with multiple meat options; brisket, burnt ends, ribs, pulled chicken, pulled pork and sausage. We enjoyed the burnt ends, pulled pork the most. Sausage was good but more a breakfast sausage flavor. The brisket was a bit dry, chicken was good, ribs fell off the bone but not as big of a a fan of candied ribs. Sweet potato rolls were enjoyable. Green chili Mac, beans delicious and vinegar coleslaw was nice. They have a really great patio to sit at and everyone there was very nice. Sauces were good, both red and gold available. Overall an enjoyable experience and we'd come back for a few of those items for sure!

Stopped by this spot off the highway in Golden after a day of hiking. Was not crowded and had a decent small parking lot. Ordered the Diablo sandwich and a small side of OG Mac. The staff was nice and the place was clean but the BBQ and Mac itself was just ok. They had three sauces available including their new cherry chipotle sauce.

First time in, and won't be our last! If your looking for some great BBQ and drinks, this is the place! Nice dining area inside or out, looks like thy have live music at night time, the gal behind the counter was fantastic! She suggested the chicken, pork, with chili sauce sandwich- this did not disappoint! This place has the best and I mean the BEST beans! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table, nice set up! We also had a raspberry mule and raspberry bourbon drink - fantastic!!

Outstanding barbecue. I have never had a bad piece of meat. The interior is nothing fancy, but they do have blues music in the background and occasionally live music. Service is good. It's a walk up to order, you take your seat, and they bring you your grub.

Bbq is average but what's really bad, is you get there at 5:30, and they have already run out of things. Ate there a while back and made no comments about the so-so food. But now, I just couldn't hold back the distaste for a place that over charges and under serves. Will never come back.
