Sansara

For the longest time, Cuban food was the cuisine I took the longest to try. That all changed when I moved to Houston and experienced El Meson Cuban Restaurant--I was hooked. From ropa vieja to lechón and pastelitos, Cuban food quickly became one of my favorites.Now that I'm in Denver, I've been lucky to explore a few options, but Sansara knocked it out the park with their mind-blowing Cuban-ish. What I ordered: Cuban-ish Sandwich (chicharrón, ham, roasted pork, mustard-mayo, gherkins, Swiss, @getrights Cuban bread), Mango Salad (fresh and fried red onions, cherry tomatoes, Serrano and Thai bird chilis, mint), and Platanitos Maduros with sofrito aioli. Best Bite: Not to be dramatic, but the Cuban-ish Sandwich is absolutely amazing. The chicharrón adds an extra layer of crunch and flavor that I didn't know I needed. The Mango Salad was spicy AND refreshing, and the Platanitos Maduros--perfection with the sofrito aioli but you can't ever go wrong with plantains. This is a food truck so their location and vibe changes with the location but they always pick the best places. Everyone was extremely welcoming too!

My wife and I are visiting Denver in October and we're really hoping to try this food truck. We had Sansara brunch in Miami years ago when they were doing pop-up brunch service in the Gables, and we're so excited to try this new iteration

Ordered one of each and ate them all ! Won't be back till next year so I ordered 3 sandwiches of each to go ! Amazing food and service

Lamb sandwich and the Cuban were both amazing. Looking forward to the next time we have it!
