Saigon District One

My wife and I just had lunch at Saigon District 1. The food is delicious and authentic Vietnamese! We started with Goi Tham Cam (Lotus Root Salad) - super fresh. My wife ordered the Bun Rieu and I got the Mi Vit Quay.Both noodle soups were excellent. We were stuffed but had to ordered a couple of Banh Mi sandwiches to take home. I think we just found the best & most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado! To get the same level of quality and authentic dishes as Saigon District 1, you would need to go to Orange County California. If you enjoy authentic Vietnamese food go to Saigon District 1. You'll be warmly welcome by Mai, the owner, and her wonderful staff.

Bun Reiu was delicious. Recommend asking for the shrimp paste to add for extra flavor.The Pho Dac Biet is quite expensive for what it was. Also the meat came out chewy and overcooked.Surprisingly it took awhile for the dishes to come out. I imagine this is just growing pains.Overall menu looks like it has very authentic items aside from just pho. Will be back to tryIt is generally on the pricey side

Every so often, one finds a restaurant where everything is perfect. Saigon District One is just such a place! The food is fresh, flavorful and appealing with lots of variety. They have a large menu so don't be afraid to take some time to find something you'll love.The staff is welcoming, friendly and fun, and they are happy to help you find something wonderful. Don't be surprised to find the chef out talking with patrons as time allows.The restaurant is clean, comfortable and well thought out. Some places skimp on table space, but not so here. As a big guy, I felt right at home.We started with the deep-fried soft-shell crabs and shared seafood stir-fried with curry and the combo noodle bowl. Here's a picture of the stir fry and part of the soft-shell crabs. Everything was excellent! We will be back very soon, and often. Try it, and find your favorite too!

Excited to see a great Vietnamese joint locally and not having to drive to Denver. Food and service was great. Loads of options. Pricing is a little steep for an Asian restaurant though. A regular bowl of noodle runs $20+

We have this place 4 tries because the food was really good. The service however was the absolute worst and did not justify a percentage of the bill. Wrong orders, inattentive, rude demeanor. The waiters will sink this place. My wife and daughter have already auto-vetoed this place, which means we probably won't give it a 5th chance. Good luck with getting in and out in less than 60 min off-peak and 90 min peak with them checking on you maybe once.

We all enjoyed our food. It's currently a soft opening, and it's clear they're working out kinks. We absolutely loved our fried veggie spring rolls which come with fresh veggies and rice noodles. They don't have alcohol yet, but they said they will. We like how they have redecorated the place, it's got lots of flowers. They were very nice and accommodating to me and my family. We will be back and it certainly has the potential to get a 5 star review from me in the future. Well worth trying.

Trying this place as we were in the area. Been seeing them on a few social media posting and been meaning to give them a try. We order the banh canh, salted/pepper squid, bo bot that and our kids got pho. There was so much food we took the squid togo. Our kids killed the pho, this place has a very calming and chill ambiance. Glad to see a vietnames restaurant in this area.

Husband and I decided to try this new place for date night on Sunday 2/23/25. We were so disappointed. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We ordered grilled mussels, stirfry seafood with vermicelli noodles, mango salad with beef, salty fish fried rice, and a fruit tea. It took almost 30 minutes to get the first dish and then about every 10-15 minutes the next dish and 10-15 minutes before the next dish. They messed up on the mango salad with beef and brought us shrimp salad. We had to get their attention. Then they brought us the wrong noodles stirfry. They kept coming to ask if I have gotten my fruit tea yet but never brought it. After all the food was finally on our table they brought me milk tea and quickly walked away. Every time a dish was dropped off our table, they never made sure it was correct or if we needed anything. They would quickly walk off. It was a challenge flagging someone down. They eventually brought my fruit tea but by this time, I was hungry and frustrated. The food was horrible. Everything was overly sweet like msg, sugar and soy sauce on all the dishes, except for the fried rice which had no flavor at all. My fruit tea was so concentrated that I couldn't drink that, either. Nothing was edible! This place lack customer service, extremely disorganized, very inefficient way of running food to tables, and horrible, inedible food! Total before tips $120. Such a waste of money. We left hungry because of how gross the food was. We also watched the server take one of our wrong dish (shrimp salad), stirred it around, and take it to the correct table. We had already eaten into it when we saw the shrimp under the vegetables and herbs. Gross. What they should've done is stay to ask if we'd be OK with taking the dish we already ate into and comping that dish but no, they couldn't be bothered to check with their customers.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. Easy parking and good vibe inside. The menu has a lot of choices, anything you want. Love it....thanks Mai!!

Good food and good service. Mai prepped the food, it was delicious. Loved the music they were playing. And the staff is very friendly.
