It should not take 20 minutes to make an egg wrap with no line. He asked if I wanted the pita wrapped and I declined because I was afraid it would take him another 15 minutes.

Our waitress was soo sweet. If it wasn't for her we would have gotten up and left. THE WORST food I have had possibly in my life. Do not go there. BARF BARF BARF.

Yikes. I hate to leave 1-star reviews, but this was just too much. First, the older guy taking my order, who I also assume owns the food truck, was quite rude. He got my order incorrect, and also accused my coworker, who was in line behind me, of skipping someone (who actually turned out to be one of his friends). The friend turned and cursed at me and my coworker, and then took off in a huff, not even placing an order. The older guy behind the register then scolded my friend for skipping his friend when my coworker had maintained that same spot in line since we got there. Terribly unprofessional. Now, to the food. My crepe (which he charged me for a waffle) was stiff and cold when I got it, despite him claiming that it would "take forever" to cook one... it must've taken years, because that thing was as cold as a block of dry ice by the time I got it. If you don't want something to "take forever" for you to cook, take it off your menu! Kind of not rocket science. My coworker enjoyed her falafel despite the rudeness, but the woman sitting across the table from us had a hair in hers. Yikes. This location could definitely use some improvement.

Chicken over rice was the size of a kids meal. Chicken was dry with some seasoning sprinkled on top. Came with "curry" which was basically a soup that tasted like gravy with peas, potatoes, and carrots in it. Could be so much better for $8.65

Sometimes it takes a while for the food to be ready but I really love the gyro sandwiches. I haven't found better in Denver so far.

Cant beat the prices and freshness of their falafel wrap! It does take a bit longer than everything else on the menu so only go here if you've got at least 25 minutes for a break.

We ordered Saffron take out so didn't get the full experience but the food was just okay. The hummus was like grocery store hummus and gyro meat was not great. The wait staff was nice and they were very quick

I would put no stars if I could. The owner of this truck is a rude ass hole and the food is not good. I tried getting a refund or something else to eat but instead I got yelled at and insulted. This truck gets real busy and maybe all anyone tries here is the gyros and that's probably for the best. I like to try different things when I go eat somewhere but every time I tried something new it was either rancid, small portioned, old and gray, or just plain gross. My biggest pet peeve is paying for shitty food and I tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt but after 3 tries.. I'll try no more. Also because he told me not to go back but hey that's why he continues to be a small business owner. I do not support this small business owner and neither should you

I am the type of person who is easily satisfied by unexceptional service. When I walk up to the order window at Saffron Grill, it doesn't take long for an enthusiastic server to ask me my order. As I tell him I would like to try the gyro ($5.50), the aroma of falafel and pita bread enlightens my senses. The server speaks very loudly almost as if he is yelling. I also had to repeat my order to him. This may be annoying to some, but I am indifferent and it didn't affect my opinion of the establishment. The server is sure to apply new gloves to ensure he maintains sanitation. As I wait for the gyro, the overwhelming aroma of the establishment teases me. Luckily, the gyro doesn't take long to make. The gyro is foil wrapped, the lack of plating is more than compensated by the exceptional presentation of the food. The meat is greasy and radiates heat as it is hot. The lettuce's color is a vibrant green and has few stalks. The vegetables are diced to an easily consumable size. The sauce is rather viscous and has the same consistency as a chowder. I take a bite into the foil wrapped mixture of thinly sliced crispy meat and colorful vegetation smothered in sauce. I am greeted by the warm and rather soft pita bread. The softness quickly fades in to the crunch of the vegetables and the dense meat. The sauce is exceptional to say the least and gives a diversity to the flavor of the sandwich. Saffron Grill has excellent service and offers a unique, diverse, and toothsome food. I would recommend Saffron Grill.
