A large space with a robust menu and some pretty good (but not amazing) food and great service. The menu had plenty of options to satisfy our needs and while the food was good it did not blow me away either. The portion sizes were generous but had a price that was a bit high for the quality Our. Server was wonderful and prompt as well. I will be back to try again but hope other menu items are a bit more impactful to justify the higher end costs.

I dined at Rockyard last night with a friend and tried a different dish. I ordered the steak salad and it was gooood! It's a perfect sized portion and with a nice cut of meat. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was grilled perfectly. Rockyard salads are good so I was expecting a nice meal. It didn't disappoint! Plenty of greens and tomatoes. They drizzle a nice balsamic vinegar over the salad. They offer you a choice of vinaigrette or blue cheese. I chose blue cheese and didn't disappoint!I would definitely order the steak salad again. Service was average. I liked that our waiter asked if I wanted another refill of my beverage after I finished eating. Had plenty of beverage while eating. Our waiter also checked on us towards the end of our meal. It could've been a little earlier. However, he was busy so I understand.I will most likely dine here again. I was eyeballing meals that were delivered to other tables. The burrito looks really good!

My Kick'n chicken is always good. My wife tried the sirloin for the first time and declared it one of the worst steaks she's ever had. She actually ended up needing to use ketchup to get through some of it, and part of the rest went home for our dog. For the record, our dog didn't complain at all when the steak was given to her. That said, for $28, a steak shouldn't have to be only palatable by a canine. Service was a bit hit or miss, and we were offered a free dessert to make up for the slow service. The skillet ice cream cookie sundae was fine. Rockyard is one of our area staples, so I'm sure we won't hold this against them. We just won't bother trying the sirloin on future visits.

RBC is a solid spot for a low-key dinner with a local craft. No beer nerds here...just a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is a real surprise for a brewery. From normal pub fare to some real surprises, you'll definitely something that you want. Beer-wise, the selection is very good, running from Vienna lager, to American IPA, and even into Belgian ale. For a guaranteed great meal, order theKknots with Jalapeño soup for dipping, the Green Chili Burrito is spicy and sultry, and wash it down with a New Thang IPA.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday and the service couldn't have been better. The server totally indulged my two lunch companions who were interested in trying several of the brews on tap. She was well-versed in all the different beers as well as the food offerings. Since it was our first time, we told her which items we were thinking of ordering and she gave us her honest opinion of each. She knew her stuff!I got the meatloaf, which was huge and excellent (I took almost half of it home) loved the crunchy fried onions on top, and the two guys I was with had the Jalapeño burger and the French Dip (the server brought a side of horseradish to go with it!)Nice big place, very roomy, and you don't feel rushed. Lots of TV's too, if you're looking to catch a game.

Listen, this place is awesome. If you're looking for a bite and a beer that's got some passion in it, look no further. I seriously am impressed.Tonight I wanted to go outside the box and have something with its own touch, and a nice beer to go with it at a fair price. Walked down the street from my hotel and had a "New thang" IPA and a firebird burger with a pan cookie. Everything I ate had a unique delivery and left me very satisfied.Additionally, the atmosphere was great. Low volume but plenty of entertainment (they have all the sports and important events on over 5+ TVs) I was able to really enjoy myself while also feeling like a part of a community loved establishment. Lastly, service was top notch here. I had Brian as a server and I was very well take care of. Swung by to check on me plenty and make sure I was in good shape while balancing the rest of his customers. Absolutely professional and swift customer service. This place is doing something right, and you will find out as soon as you walk in the door. This is a must visit if you're in town!!

My friends and I stopped in yesterday for a bite and a beer. I'm rarely ever in Castle Rock but this place looked busy which is always a good sign the "locals" like it. The building is large, beautiful, clean and x well kept. There is oodels of secure private parking in a private lot. The staff is extremely pleasant and the food is first rate. Our sever, a professional and efficient man named Joseph was on top of everything. Our burgers and pulled pork sandwiches were fantastic and their French fries were superb. Even the restrooms were clean. My only complaint? The bill, I felt, was high for what we got. Yea, the food was good but it wasn't "that" good as to justify 100 dollar bill for three people. I think you're paying for a lot of atmosphere here.

Dropped into Rockyard Brewing again with friends for a quick meal before a meeting. I ordered the Spinach Salad + a chicken breast. My wife had a house salad and Garlic Bread. Her order was great because even though garlic bread isn't on the menu it was available and a good portion of... like 6 slices . My spinach was really great as it was chock full of bacon, red onions n egg. Since they don't offer a warm bacon dressing (boo) I ordered their 'housemade' blue cheese dressing which was only ok. I like my blue cheese dressing chunky. Ben, a fairly new server, provided excellent service. We were in a bit of a hurry and even though there weren't many people in the room the kitchen seemed to be slow. But Ben worked his magic and kept us informed and drinks refreshed.

If you read a lot of my reviews, you'll notice I mostly only write reviews when I'm not a happy camper. However, the Rocky Yard never ceases to amaze us. My wife just mentioned that we have never had a bad meal here. Not with guests, not by ourselves, never. It is now December and we have been coming here since June since we are new to the area. We have eaten here at least 12 times and find it hard to go anywhere else. We have pretty much had everything on the menu by this point. The buffalo chicken salad is phenomenal. The burgers are great and can be ordered the way you want them done . The Reuben is to die for and the wings are excellent. The chicken quesadilla is very well seasoned flavored and filling. The kids meals portions are large. The mac & cheese is way better than anything that You'll find anywhere else. There's really nothing that I could say about this restaurant that's bad. We honestly have never had a bad meal here.Did I mention the service? I think you get it...I hope this review doesn't make it harder for me to get a table.
