I went in with a group of 5. She asked for all of our IDs. We get it to her and she wouldn't accept 2 of them even though ALL OF US are 21 or above. She was very rude.

Lovely little spot. Nice to have something so close and IN downton Castle Rock. The prices are good and there's a nice selection. If they don't have what you want, ask and they'll try to get it for you. The owners are awesome!

Just had the worst experience ever in here. I came in with my husband, brother in law, sister and her boyfriend. We are all 23-25 years old. The blonde woman who was working had a horrible attitude. She asked for all of our IDs which was no problem and we presented them. My sister and her boyfriend both are visiting from California. California has vertical IDs. She said her owner's policy was that she couldn't sell to anyone with vertical IDs. However, their IDs were STATE ISSUED and real. So we offered to call the non emergency line and ask an officer to come down and verify that they are real and their identities. The woman was so rude, said no and that we had to leave. My dad who is literally 60 years old came down to buy the alcohol. The woman wouldn't sell to him because he was affiliated with us (EVEN THOUGH WE ARE ALL OF AGE AND EVEN ASKED FOR AN OFFICER TO COME VERIFY). The woman was SO rude to my father. It's such a bummer because we are locals in downtown and loved this place previously. I will never be supporting again and will spread the word to my neighbors about my experience. ACCEPT REAL IDS. especially when we even offered to have an officer come verify. BE POLITE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
