Rico’s Pizzeria

Thanks Rico's for advertising that you would be open on Christmas Day and then not answering the phone or accepting online orders for pickup.

I have driven by this place for years and finally decided to give them a shot. Their sandwiches are delicious. The pizza by the slice that was sitting out looked a little suspicious but smelled great! My brother said the meatballs could use some more seasoning but I thought they had a perfect blend of seasoning to complement the sauce and cheese. The staff were super friendly and I just wish I would have tried them sooner. Rico's is not my favorite pizza place but it is definitely in my top three. Not a lot of seating so you might have to take it to go.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Rico's. Our family has been coming here for 15+ years. Ownership changed a few years ago, but they kept the menu and consistency. Rico's is my favorite NY style pizza in the Denver area. Their sausage is especially amazing. Love the calzones, sandwiches and pizza. The best part is it feels like an old pizza place.

Gotta say, I was a bit disappointed. Less cheese on the pizza than I expected. Crust a little thicker than I prefer. Sliced sausage was a plus. Not bad, just not worthy of that 4th star.

Friendly service; food was fine (we had chicken Parm and manicotti--chicken was very good, sauce and spaghetti was alright, manicotti could have had more filling.) Drinks get 1 refill. TV was pretty loud especially since it is such a small space.

Hands down the best lasagna, pizza, calzones, pastas in town! Great customer service too. I dream about their food and go every chance I get. Unfortunately they are not close to me so I don't go as often as I'd like. Don't overlook this little Italian gem!!

Had a great experience here today. The staff was friendly, the pizza was great and I enjoyed watching it being made. The crust was incredible and the vegetarian pizza is one of the best I've ever had. We are definitely not leaving hungry.

Been going for years, Changing owners . The place still has the same staff .. Food is delicious and reasonable price.. Recommend to try the place.. It is a small but the food is the best ... Home made quality...with the taste that will conquer you..

I think this place changed ownership. I ordered the meatball sub with great visions of the past in my head. I was surely disappointed. There was a bunch of slop thrown into a piece of bread and baked with some cheese and it was something that hardly resembled a meatball sandwich at all. I could only eat half of the sandwich and I threw the other half away. I think there was some meat in it maybe... last time I'll go there.

We ordered the The Queens Veggie pizza for takeout. Should have checked it, just trusted them. Got home and it was the original combo which is pretty much globs of cheese and pepperoni.This was our very first time to order from Rico's. It was truly a disgusting pizza. We ate one slice and threw it out. $30 bucks down the drain. We won't be back. Gross.
