Rare Bird

We had a great experience at Rare Bird! We arrived on a Saturday night close to closing so there was plenty of seating. We didn't feel rushed and the bartender was amazing! He was creating a new drink for their menu and let us sample it. He was a very creative, talented mixologist dedicated to making excellent drinks and providing excellent customer service. He let us know he spent much of the day grinding down hibiscus flowers with sugar to make the rim of his new cocktail. The ambiance is great as well and you get good views of the mountains and downtown Denver.

Excellent Experience! This review is late (the event I threw there was in June), however the exceptional experience is still at the forefront of my mind. Emily the events (I think that's her role) manager and the 3 bartenders/servers: Joan, Chet, and AB helped my hosting my bestie bday (and secret engagement party) smoothly. This was an event to remember! The cake was beautiful (made by Local Jones baker)--everyone who attended raved about this delicious cake (I have celiac disease so I did not try it). Emily not only stored and brought out everything I purchased to surprise my friend (timed perfectly)--ballon's, treat gift bags, napkins, etc--as I asked. Emily checked in on us several times and all the attentive and kind bartenders/servers made this entire experience one we will all never forget! Thank you again Emily, you're the best!!! Ever so grateful

This bar is located atop the Halcyon hotel in Cherry Creek and overlooks the Rocky Mountains. The atmosphere is fun and trendy, with plenty of seating and shade. The mist offers a welcome relief from the summer heat. The pool area is separate, which makes me wonder why they serve drinks in plastic. If you are beer drinker, you might be disappointed with the very limited selection, while the wine list is better. We visited on a hot day, perfect for a frozen cocktail. I had the Toucan with Camp Viejo Rose, Elderflower, and Absinthe. It wasn't strong at all, but perfectly refreshing. We enjoyed our drinks, snacking on fries and admiring the views, while the mist deliciously caressed our backs.

Had been meaning to scope out Rare Bird for a hot minute and ended up checking it off the list during their launch party/pig roast, which was rad! There was a variety of food, all of which was amazing, and a lot of fun entertainment throughout the evening. Staff did a great job given how bumping it was and the cocktails were yummy. The view though... That's the real cherry on top. Stunning with a lot of different seating options. I personally loved the swing chairs. Really looking forward to coming during one of their movie nights.* Zero Proof Review: No options, which is very disappointing for a place with such cool cocktails and vibe. Missing out on business - cater to a broader crowd!Overall, worth a visit and one of the better rooftop views in CCN. If you're currently not drinking though... Probably not the place for you ‍.

The views from the roof top are amazing! There is definitely a 360 view of Denver in a great location. The service has always been super friendly with a very trendy vibe. Very young professional atmosphere for sure but trendy on the weekends.The drinks are fun but just okay. They were not balanced and made more trendy than delicious. Some of them were too sweet and others lack depth. However, this place is still very fun.

Views are amazing but the poor service makes Rare Bird an easy pass. You'd think a newer luxury hotel would be at least make some an effort to provide ok service but for the premium pricing there are a lot more places and rooftops in area that I'd easily recommend going to. The bartenders were far more Interested in socializing than attending to the small crowd they had today. Pretty disappointed to be honest.

Favorite summer spot in Cherry Creek! Rare Bird enhanced their ambiance with new pergola, swings and decorations making for a beautiful setting as you sip delicious cocktails. My current favorite is the Honey Bee because I love bourbon and that crazy buzz button tingle. If you are looking for an N/A option definitely try the Cactus Wren. Will be back to try out their new weekend cookout menu too! I also have to say that every single person I encountered that works there was so wonderful. Fun find in Cherry Creek!

My husband and I have gone to Rare Bird a few times. We have hung by the pool as well as sat at the bar. The food, drinks and service have been amazing each time we have gone. Skye always goes out of her way to make excellent recommendations and make sure her guests have the best experience possible. This is our new favorite spot to hang out! Highly recommend the margaritas and smoked chicken on the weekend cookout menu.

We had a girls night out and decided to try this place based on reviews. Pretty disappointed! my drink took more than 20 minutes. My friend drink had dog hair in it.Also cheese plate that didn't look appealing at all had dog hair. It's okay bar will not go back.

The place is absolutely awesome the views, the atmosphere, the people, the cocktails are delicious, quality flavor. Great conversations, relax and excellent place to meet new people.
