My friends and I were in the neighborhood looking for a way to kill time and thought getting some drinks and playing pool would be fun. The first thing to greet you when you come into this place is unfortunately a stale basement/cigarette stench which has clearly been there for many, many years and probably won't ever go away. That's the reason for maybe 1.5 stars taken off. The other half star was because we were there at a non-busy time and still had to pay per hour and per person to play pool. There are many pool bars downtown that don't even charge for playing as long as you buy drinks. I would maybe understand per table but per person? That seemed a bit much especially for what was being offered. They do show at least the Fight Night UFC events here though which is nice... but without volume.

Came with a few friends after a softball game and the experience was mediocre. First off, finding the place was a task. My Google Maps said I had arrived, yet out of all the shops in the strip mall none of them said Rack'em Billiards. Turns out it's located in the back behind the Mexican restaurant. This is a 21+ establishment and if you're playing pool they will hold one persons ID until you return the balls. The entire place needs a major remodel. There were holes in the ceiling and the carpet was dirty. Not to mention, it was hot as hell in there. Then I went to the restroom and had to venture to three different stalls to find toilet paper. We were given table number 5 which was all the way in the back and I'm not a professional or avid pool player so I thought everything looked fine. However, the chairs that were at our table were wobbly and my seat was falling off. As for food, it's your typical bar fare. There were wings, chicken strips, a salad and some other items. I ordered the chicken strips and fries and thought they were actually pretty good. The service was slow even when the place was extremely vacant. Thankfully playing several rounds of pool kept us busy and having fun. At the end of our night we received our checks and weren't aware that it cost $5 to play pool. Yeah, it's only $5, but I wish they would have disclosed this verbally instead of putting up a sign that no one reads and then finding out on the check. And come to find out it's cheaper on every other day except Sunday, the day we went. Overall, not the best place for a night out, but if you like pool they have plenty of tables.

A dope little lounge type place that offers pool by the hour or at a special depending on the night. Took a date here and it was very well equipped. The night we went there wasn't a cook oknstaff so we didn't eat but overall it was a inexpensive and fun evening. If you'relooking to just relax and have a good time and are low on funds this could be your next hangout.

I have went to Rack'em for the last 10 years and playing pool. The place has always been a little rough but it was always clean and tidy. I just went yesterday and noticed the tables were in very bad shape. Actually the floor was filthy and the table I was on actually had bread on the bar that was probably three days old. I hope that the management gets his review and recognizes a truly need to increase their performance. I would be a shame to take my friend there. However since it's close I will continue to go and practice. However if I had another location I would certainly choose that location. In addition the music was very profound and not of my liking. Of course I'm 60 years old and rap is not my style, However I'm tolerant. But the cursing every other word is a bit daunting!!!

I loved it here! I think this is a great place to have a casual night and play pool. They also have beer-pong tables and games. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We went on a day when they ran out of fries (I know, so sad!) but they surely made up for it with their mozzarella sticks! In addition, I thought their chicken nuggets were really good.I'd definitely recommend this place.

I've been to this place several times now and have never been let down. I usually go on Saturday nights and each time they've played hip hop music which I enjoy. An added bonus about this place is that they typically carry the top notch UFC fights which believe it or not are hard to find unless you want to be packed like sardines in a Buffalo Wild Wings. The tables are well kept, the bathrooms are pretty clean for a public place, and the prices are very reasonable. The drinks here are excellent, the bartenders are friendly and you've got to try the chicken wings! It can be a bit hard to find after the sun has gone down but don't give up its worth the search.

If you're White, think twice. They require to hold your drivers license. When I left, the story was they couldn't find mine. They never did anything at all to help find what happened to my identification, despite the presence of cameras, and a request from the Police.I was the only White guy in the place. I watched many people get their IDs back without any problem. Just mine for some strange reason they couldn't find and wouldn't help me find it.

No beer on tap (just bottles and cans). Crumbles of drywall in back corner from ceiling damage. Many of the house cues are in bad shape (warped and/or splitting on the back end). Typical pub grub on the menu.

Found this and instantly fell in love!! Bartenders and regulars are very sweet and the pool sticks are in better condition than any bar I've been to in CO.

I was looking for a new place to play and thought from the photos I could find this would be it and was seriously let down. The place feels like it may have been a decent pool hall at some point but that was well before COVID. Music was loud enough that I had to shout to be heard by the counter staff. I didn't verify the condition of every single table in the room, just the ones between my table in the back (table 5) and the front counter. Those few I looked at were in pretty poor shape with stains all over the cloth, which brings me to Table 5: it looked like it had been used as a set piece for an adult film and felt like people have been washing it with their drinks between shots. The rails were ok (not dead but not very live either) and the table was out of level (enough to give a table length cue roll about 1/4" drift). I've played in a lot of bars around the country and more pool halls than that but this was the nastiest thing I've seen that didn't have rips in the felt which were blessedly absent.I called it for my experience when my food got to half an hour (which was fifteen minutes after I'd asked if they'd be long). I had ordered mozz sticks, which in most fryers need 3 - 5 minutes to cook and when the order was placed there were a total of 7 seven tables with an average of three people each. I didn't see any activity in the kitchen when placing my order but maybe there were one or two other orders running; I didn't seen any food come out while I was waiting however. They did try and give me the food as I was walking out, which I politely refused. Bartender told the counter person that I had to pay for the food "since it was already made."Yeah, no.Even Denny's will comp at least some of your meal when make times run over long or service is poor. I guess if you're getting the sense that a customer is unlikely to return you'd want to recoup whatever compensation you can but insisting they pay for product/service that was completely unsatisfactory is insulting and only serves to enforce a poor opinion.I paid for the table time ($5 on Sundays which is despite everything else a great price), left a $5 tip that's the only money I'll ever spend here.
