R&R Lounge Denver

R&R Lounge is always a fun time. Anyone and everyone is welcome. It is a great time to hang out with friends, meet new people (if you want), and have a good, cheap drink. The bartenders are always so nice, make a good drink, and have great music playing. R&R Lounge continues to be featured year after year in the Westword's 100 Bars You Can't Live Without and I would agree with this bar being on the list consistently. R&R has been in business for a very long time in its current location in the Park Hill neighborhood along Colfax. Have been a few times before and I can always expect the same fun everytime I go. Thanks R&R for being fabulous, as always.

Always a welcoming place to get a drink or two. Reasonably priced drinks with plenty of seating options - at the bar, tables, or out back. Upbeat music is playing from the speakers. It's easy to find R&R off of Colfax with its fabulous vintage sign lighting the way to the rainbow painted door.

After attending an event I was too wired to go home so as I'm headed home I remember this place could be open. It's a very laid back bar and the bartender I believe named Brian was very courteous and ensured I was taken care of.

Chris' giant beautiful arms were quite a distraction when I came in this particular evening.

I love this place. Very relaxed local environment with great drinks. One of my favorite places to visit when I come to Denver. Staff is always so nice.

So I stopped in on a Friday night, around 10:30pm and stayed until midnight. It was my first time to the R&R Lounge in Denver. Upon arriving, I was not greeted but the vibe was welcoming which is good enough for me. The bartender, Matt was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. It was sorta busy and Matt was the only bartender there. Despite how busy it was, he was awesome and made sure everyone was set. The crowd is friendly and it can be loud sometimes but it shows that people are just having a good time. You don't have to be apart of the Lgbtq+ community either. The R&R Lounge welcomes anyone. It's the perfect place to decompress after a long day because of it's vibe and mild dark lighting, but still is pretty well lit.It is definitely one of those hole in the wall dive bars that you can't skip. Thanks to Matt for the great service and friendliness. The R&R Lounge is conveniently located off of Colfax and I live nearby so it's too convenient... I highly recommend.

Great bar with great staff and local men. I went here on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Your standard local neighborhood Gay Bar.

A hidden little gem on Colfax. This bar welcomes everyone as they are and the drinks are great! They do have an outdoor area in the back when it's warm out so you can hang out with your small group of friends. Covid measures are taken seriously here so they do tend to hit the max amount of people allowed fast on the weekends. They also do temp checks prior to seating you.

What a disappointment today. We came in to enjoy a quiet cocktail once again Chris treated me with respect. I just don't know how to handle this. I expect gay bars to be judgmental and snarky.
