Proto's Pizzeria Napoletana - Boulder

One of my family's favorite local pizza places. We usually go to the downtown Denver location so this was our first time checking out the Boulder one and it did not disappoint. First off, Kristy was our server and she was fantastic. She was friendly and was really knowledgeable about the menu. We love the tomato and mozzarella salad (caprese), but my mom really wanted greens as well so Kristy added a small bed of greens which was nice of her. I always get the Proto Pie and it is so delicious. I love the usage of basil in this restaurant since it's one of my favorite flavors. It's in a cute corner spot up in North Boulder and parking really isn't that bad which is rare for Boulder. Definitely worth checking out for some really top notch pizza!

I love proto's! it's honestly my fave in Boulder for the price, it's always consistent and yummy! I also love the dessert's from here too. A great cheaper option for pizza in Boulder! The staff is friendly and awesome always too. I like the Angel pie & Proto's pie.

Ahh What can I say, I moved from the Boulder/Longtucky area 10yrs ago, so decided to pay a visit to my favorite pizzeria. The pizza and cannoli were fabulous and the staff was as always top notch

Horrible. Very thin crust like a saltine cracker with no flavor. If you want thicker crust you have to pay for a large while they "fold" it over. Here they just worry about making money not quality of the pizza itself. If I recall, this same place was in denver along the platte river. It didn't last long.

The Pizza hit the spot and service was great! Nice little spot to have beer, wine and pizza.

Wow. $6+ for a bed of lettuce and one single anchovy? Needless to say we won't be back.

We came in with family and were seated promptly in a small table in the back. Loved it! it was relatively quiet compared to the rest of the restaurant. The corner was darker, and I loved that there were no blaring lights or speakers anywhere near us. We were not rushed, but given time to review menus, chat and visit with family. The server was kind, cheerful, helpful, and amazing! As a Celiac I did not feel I could order with safety, but my party had, by all reported accounts, wonderful-tasting pies; and it did smell good. I would recommend.

So good. I eat here about once a week. Efficient friendly service too. Try salads and margarita pizza

We love the thin Napoletana style pizza!! It's our favorite in Boulder. Great service and great ZA! Highly recommend!!
