Proto's Pizza

We were late dining on Valentine's Day as I had to work on that day they took great care of us. The food was delicious as always plus impeccable service Atomicathank you so much.

Decent thin crust pizza. Fantastic prices, cute little restaurant. I would go back to try their salads and dessert.

I cannot believe how bad this was. I ordered five pizzas, picked them up, took them home, and they were awful. Inedible. We would have gotten more enjoyment eating the box.The pizza was cold, dried out, almost like it was baked the day before and left out all night. We literally threw away pizza because it was so sh*tty.It was sadness in a box.Caveat emptor.

This place needs more reviews. What a hidden gem. I had heard from a friend it was good and they were right. Tasty pizza, friendly service, and lots of options. The pizza was great and my 3 small kids finished off a large. They have a hot infused oil that you can put on as well, super tasty. They had a special just for this past week too, strawberry cannolis in a chocolate shell. So good, very different from the original. Overall, I'd like to go back and try their limoncello margaritas or other drinks. They even had a TV for games. Good stuff for sure.

For years Proto's was our go-to pizza restaurant, always spot on! We stopped going a few years ago as the prices went up and quality went down. A few days ago we decided to give it another go. Shared a $12 salad, a $31.00 large Proto Pie with added prosciutto and mushrooms and two $6 Pironi beers. Pizza was fair but the crust was tough. When we got the $62 tab I noticed a $2.19 "Staff Benefits Charge" charge tacked on! This pissed me off and deducted the amount from my normal 20% tip. $70.00 pizza meal even in this crazy economy is just plain nuts! Sorry Proto's there'll soon be competition coming to the neighborhood that will put you in your place.

We love Proto's pizza and usually go to the Bromfield location. It was getting late so went to this location becuase it is open until 8:30. We walked in at 7:55 and they were already closing down, emptying trash, etc. Was told we had to sit near the door at a table for 4 even though there were 5 of us. It was pretty clear that at 8:30 they would be hustling us out so we didn't stay. I asked why the rush and was told something about "labor" and how they had to get out on time. Pretty fishy.

Just pizza but so many options! The Goombah and customized are my favorites. The chocolate tartuffo dessert is so good!!

The food is good as usual. They have a good selection of pizzas and appetizers. Sitting on the outdoor patio outside was very nice today. Our server Ashley is phenomenal!! She is very friendly and happy and remembers you and also checks on how her people are doing.

I ordered a pie for pickup and was thoroughly disappointed in the food quality. The crust was so thin and crunchy, like a cracker. It was burnt in parts. The sauce was bland. The topping was sparse. Two stars for getting my order correct and having cordial staff, but isn't that the bare minimum? I would not return.

Nono, the manager is amazing. So kind, thoughtful, often remembers orders/usuals, needs and customization. Pizza is delicious, more authentic Italian than most. Their pizza sauce is delicious, light. Cute and quaint. Friendly. They could improve the one restroom, but it's not terrible. It suffices. Great place to have in Lafayette! One of my faves. All the pizzas I have tried, I have liked.
