Potbelly is a pretty standard toasted sandwich place. This place is right off of Union Station and has a great city vibe with outdoor seating and stools that face the talll buildings inside. A great stop if your looking for something simple and fresh. We stopped here right before a concert to just chill. I ordered the original Mediterranean without the chicken or cucumbers and of course, added the Potbelly peppers. Really, this is one of the reasons I like this sandwich place over others. The bread is crispy and chewy and everything comes together well. Their cookies hit the spot after the spice of the peppers. Anytime I'm downtown, I like to stop by for a relaxing bite to eat.

Sandwich was pretty good and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the guy who was taking the orders seemed to be the complete opposite of someone that should be the point of contact for customers. Relatively rude about being out of Cubano meat and then when asked if they were still serving breakfast items - was treated as if I was stupid. Mind you it was 10:45 in the morning and they have a breakfast menu with no ending scheduled posted. The guys who added my condiments were super nice and I was surprised they weren't the ones taking the orders. I have worked in the service industry for many years and anyone I ever worked with/for/above would be disciplined for the attitude and behavior displayed. This would've been 4 or 5 stars if not for the poor customer service I experienced from 1 employee. Will maybe return but helpfully with a better person working the bread and order side.

Came here on a rainy day as it is pretty close to my office. Seems like everyone in the area had the same idea because it was packed. Not sure if it is always this crowded or if it was just because of the rain. The line did take a while as there were so many people 20ish minutes. I got the meatball sandwich. It was a tad dry but still pretty tasty. They also have plenty of seating if you would like to eat there. A drink sandwich and chips cost $15. A little pricey but we are in downtown. The staff were hustling and very friendly even though it was a mad house. I plan on coming back and trying a few more thigs on the menu. Overall, 3.5/5

Definitely one for the better sandwich places, the bread is fresh and super tasty, the meat is delicious and the line always moves fast. PICK YOUR PAIR SKINNY SANDWICH + SOUP is perfect at lunch time.

Yes! Before this visit, I haven't had a Potbelly sandwich since 2009. All the ones near me shut down. I was visiting the area, and happened to stumble across this one. I immediately went in, and ordered an Italian hoagie. Let me tell you- it tastes EXACTLY the same. So delicious. Soft but crunchy bread, tasty meats, all combined, it's heaven. There was a long line. I wish i could say it moved fast, but not fast enough. I will be back next time i am in the area.

I live in the neighborhood so this has become a place I've frequented over the last year. Overall I've had nothing but good experiences. Never had any major issues with an order, or service, or staff.Good spot, good food, good service. I expect nothing less from my state, and I'm glad Potbelly's delivers on that.Also, as a CO native, I really appreciate the cool historic Denver photography on the walls.
