Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Bring from Louisiana, I'm a long time Popeyes lover. I know that Popeyes locations come in two flavors, awesome and awful. There is no middle ground. The Thornton location started off exceptionally well but the last 6 months has taken a turn for the very worse. Wrong orders, VERY old biscuits, watery red beans and rice, over cooked chicken, napkins and cup lids not kept up and more. I'm guessing the staff is under paid and perhaps under managed. It's sad, this store was so good last year, not it's just another pitiful Popeyes.Go to the Broomfield store if you want quality service.

Placed an online order tonight and they totally messed our order up. I ordered beignets which the app allowed me to order. They were out so gave us a side in place of it. Get home, no sauces and we checked to make sure it was on the order. I received 2 out of 3 apple pies. When we opened the apple pie, they were actually cherry pie even though it's marked on the box. They messed our order the first time when we tried getting the free sandwich through T-Mobile Tuesday and my coupon ended up expiring so I never got the free sandwich. They're absolutely horrible.

It is just dirty in that place. Guys standing around doing nothing and the place is filthy in the lobby. They take there time at there own pace getting you your food. It sucks because we love the food but customer service sucks.

The food was hard as a rock when it came to the chicken almost as if it was sitting there for a while wasn't fresh at all , there was only 1 person working in there, the place looked clean inside ... wasn't a great experience as I came off a long days work and was craving chicken from this place , had a coupon as well only time I'll really eat Popeyes tbh . Huge fan of the spicy chicken just wasn't satisfied , even explained I know it's a slow night as it was 8pm and said I wouldn't mind waiting for fresh food ..... also ordered a cinnamon apple pie because she said she only had 1 left also ordered a apple Carmel cheesecake instead of the other cinnamon apple pie , I will say the cinnamon apple pie was pretty good , over all it felt like she was rushing me to leave , I also ordered a sandwich that look like it was smushed meat was dry. This is my first review ever , just because I was truly unsatisfied with this experience didn't call and complain , didn't ask for a refund , just thought last night that wow I usually love chicken from this place , but that experience was just awful , even when ordering she had me wait for almost 10 minutes was really craving that chicken I guess. I mean same with there chicken sandwiches usually that chicken is a huge crispy delicious piece of chicken this was not it at all , think I might just need to call . Ohh well hope this helps, guess best advice is go when it's busy ‍

Genuinely the worst chicken I've ever had. Not even eatable. It came in a HUNK and when a pulled a piece off to nibble i was awestruck at the sight in front of me. Ive never laid the window to my souls on more horrific looking meat. I decided to dive in to the fries instead, forgetting the chicken mishap, but i was miserably greeted with soggy, lazily seasoned fries (if you can call them that). I munched on those and alas moved to the biscuit, now this isn't my first rodeo with these biscuits. I knew i was preparing to enter dry, DRY territory. Just as expected my mouth felt cemented shut after just one bite, in a way it was heartwarming, the biscuit was the same as normal. Overall, i would never attend this Popeyes again and i preach caution to those looking to get a bite here. Eat at your own risk.

I have given this place the benefit of the doubt, multiple time. I realize now this place is absolutely disgusting. All the negative reviews are true. We order a 12-peice family meal and they had no chicken. They suggest chicken tender instead. The chicken tender was hard as ROCK! Just GROSS...

I'm going to say this one time. Do not. I repeat, do not eat at this Popeyes unless you like having food poisoning for 2 days in a row. My stomach has not felt this way ever in my entire life. I can't even look at food without gagging and dry heaving. I have no clue what their secret is to being so trash but they should be proud of themselves to know I have shit 23 times since yesterday. I didn't even want to be at work because I was scared to shit myself on the job. So thanks Popeyes on 144th next to the 711 everyone there is a straight bitch. With love. -Brandon.

Service was fine were find. My husband placed our order via the drive-thru. He arrived home with our food only to realize we were missing a combo meal and the other 2 combos were wrong! My husband and my mom started eating their food ~ it was cold, soggy and no flavor. It was not worth driving back to get the missing meal or hot food.

Picked up food for my family. On my way home from work. Had to double check my order as they got it wrong out of the window. Proceeded to get home only to find the quality of the food so substandard that my family could not chew it. Called up asking for a refund so that I may go elsewhere and was told I needed to drive all the way back to the store to make it right. Drove all the way back to. The store was treated very poorly and given very poor compensation for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this place to anybody ever.

I went to this Popeyes and they forgot two items from my order. I called and asked them to refund my money. Estrella said she'd have her manager call me. They never called. I called and asked again for a refund. They said a manager would call me. They never called. I called a third time and they said I'd have to come back in the store to process a refund. This place is a joke. Just refund my money for the items you didn't give me!!
