My wife and I decided to stop in here with our husky on our way home from the Castle Rock Farmers Market on a warm fall afternoon. We sat in a shady spot on the spacious, west-facing patio and ordered Margaritas and chips and dip, as we had already had lunch and weren't hungry. We got very pleasant service from a nice lady who obviously loves dogs. This past Saturday we decided to stop here for lunch on our way to see the Christmas lights in downtown Castle Rock, sitting in the sun this time. Our super nice waitress Kira brought a bowl of water for the dog without our asking. It took a while for us to decide what to order from the expansive menu. I ordered the vegetarian samosas and an Oklahoma onion burger, my wife got a gigantic tray of nachos, and we got the kids' chicken fingers for our dog. The chicken fingers were overdone - if we'd ordered them for a kid we would have sent them back, but the dog didn't mind. My burger was excellent - lots of onions and gooey melted cheese. The potato and pea samosas were very good, if slightly overcooked - the mint chutney and yogurt sauce for dipping were great. My wife said the nachos were excellent. We split the fries that came with the kids' / dog's meal, and they were just the way my wife likes them - crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and piping hot. One of the staff members came out to pet our dog and showed us pictures of his husky. The interior of the place is very pleasant - a smaller crowd was watching TVs showing NCAA football games. Many of the tables were unoccupied - I hope it gets busier in the evenings so this place sticks around. We very much enjoyed our second trip here and will happily return.

Great experience. Simple sports bar with great food The service was great (Skye was very attentive and friendly) I really like the combination of traditional sports bar food with lots of TV's and some great Indian food. Nicely done. Catch your next game here!!

Pines Bar & Grill is the perfect spot for nearby dinner! I love how it's close to home and the family atmosphere. The menu has a variety of choices so everyone is happy, which is no small feat with 2 teenagers. Service is great- they had live music this past Friday and the singer was wonderful with a fantastic voice! I'm very happy we found Pines Bar & Grill and will be back for more!

I love this place. I'm always greeted with a smile and the food never misses. Since being a customer I've tried foods I've never had before! I think the menu has a wide selection, lots of variety, and always willing to substitute or make accommodations. The overall vibe is super nice. Been a biweekly regular since April. I have to recommend giving them a go.

Discover the latest culinary gem in town, nestled in the vibrant spot where Berg Haus once stood. While the ambiance retains its lively energy, the food truly steals the spotlight. Indulge in the mouthwatering Tandoori chicken and savor the delectable Reuben sandwich. Don't miss out on the irresistibly crispy beer-battered onion rings that are simply divine. A dining experience not to be missed!

This is the review I tribally posted on Google that had more info. Figured I would give this place a try and can only say I was underwhelmed. While the staff who were there were great they needed at least one more server since a food came out luke warm at best even though staff was trying to hustle. The atmosphere makes the place look like it was thrown together with little concern of making it a sports bar, think more a warehouse lunch room.Ordered wings and few options for sauces or rubs and their hottest was, well I have had hotter ice. Came out with no ranch or bleu cheese dressing, no silverware, and even had to ask for napkins.Small but okay beer selection.Sadly a place that really could use a sports bar will probably have one fewer if they don't get their act together quick.

I want to express that I was not allowed the opportunity to enter a percentage that I would normally put in for the payment of my bill. I received my bill with a 30% tip that I was not happy with. All other places that I have been to allow me to enter my percentage and this place, the Pines Bar and Grill did not allow me to do so. I'm very upset with how this was handled and with that being said, I will not recommend this place to friends and family only because you automatically put a 30% tip on my bill without my approval. Thank you - Michael Trealoff - 303-507-2440

In response to the owner's apology for lack of service; we were greeted by him, he sat us and we told him it was our first visit, so he was aware and in fact walking around while we sat with empty drinks. If he's the example for the wait staff, no wonder. Was really hoping this would be a good new place to go besides the usual, just very disappointing.
