I called to order a German chocolate cake for my husbands birthday. Ordering was easy and I opted to pay at pickup. Finding the location was a bit trickery (the signs outside are faded) but once I got in there, the bakery was gorgeous! They had an array of different cakes and pastries. My cake was ready on time and was gorgeous and delicious. $50 and fed easily 8-10 people. Can't wait to order our next cake from here!

Came in as a spur of the moment decision! I've loved the downtown location for a gazillion years so this was the first time visiting the newer Lowry location. They have tons of cute little gifts, and of course a great menu. We tried the thumbprint apricot cookies and blueberry muffin. Both to die for. And the muffin wasn't overly sweet. There are a couple places to sit inside. Service was friendly and welcoming. I was in and out but next time I may try more things and sit a spell!

I had a great experience w Petite Gateaux. Good service, a good selection of both to-order pastry and ready-to-eat treats. I ordered a birthday cake w inscription and it was both aesthetically nice as well as delicious to eat. They have a few tables and a counter that looks out to the sidewalk, if you want to eat in.My only suggestion is, for their a la carte cakes, you should put up photos of all the cakes on your website so we know what it looks like. It would be risky to order a cake without knowing what the final product looks like, so the cake I ordered was one of the few that had a photo on the website so I knew what it looks like.

Yum! We got a variety of pastries, petit four cakes, and they gave us a croissant and an apple Danish. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We will be back.

I was so excited for this to finally open in Lowry but the bakery was a huge disappointment when I tried it about a month ago. I ordered the almond croissant, which they described as having a "thin layer" of almond filling. They weren't kidding. I thought at first they had accidentally given me a plain croissant until I inspected very closely and there was indeed the thinnest possible layer of almond paste inside. I couldn't taste it at all. While the croissant itself was light and flaky this rendered the croissant dry and flavorless. Unfortunately it was the saddest almond croissant I've ever had. I know this bakery is known for the cakes so hopefully these will be better. But I would not recommend their pastries especially at the price point with better options like la fillette (or honestly sadly even Clark's) nearby. Maybe they had an off day and I hope they improve but given the description I think they know how little filing they put.

I went yesterday for the first time, I was excited. The man working there, I really hope he's not the owner, was completely unorganized and flustered by the customer before me because they had a gift certificate. It took him way too long to help them. Then it was my turn and I ordered a coffee and a pastry. The coffee tasted like water. said something to him and he said,"I'm happy to make it bitter for you." He was like there's nothing wrong with the coffee. He did make me another cup of coffee, which was equally as poor and lacking in flavor. At this point, I know that he was not understood in helping me because combined with the eye rolling, and the comments that he was making to his other worker I knew I was not going to ever convince him that his coffee had no flavor. Instead, he told me what a great a coffee machine it was and people usually order expresso, so it must be me. I live right here and would've really liked to have a bakery in Lowry. But with service like this and attitude like this, it won't last.Ps-there is a 3% surcharge charge for using a credit card!
