Perdida

We have come here a few times now. Once for dinner, once for lunch and last time for drinks. The place is decorated nice and the vibe is really fun but easy to miss if you don't know it's in the back of the building behind another restaurant. They don't have a lunch menu so dinner pricing makes for an $$$ lunch. The food is pretty good but the portions are small. We also ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was a bit spicy so I guess we ate more chips than salsa. We asked the server if we could get more chips but she said we had to buy another order of chips and salsa to get them. Kind of ridiculous. It wasn't worth it because the salsa was not that good. We all drank our water right away and sat with empty glasses the entire time. On our first visit here, we had drinks and dinner. I ordered a skinny marg and it was like drinking straight lime juice! It was awful! I had the others taste it to make sure it wasn't just me and the consensus was it was not worth the heartburn it would cause! . I switched to the elderberry drink and it was really yummy. Fajitas for one was a good portion for one female. A guy may have been disappointed. Another person ordered enchiladas and they were very small and not hot. You could tell they were made in advance and meant to be reheated. Another entree was the carnitas and his feedback was 'they were ok'. I'm super happy we have a new place in the area and hope they will add some lunch menu items and take into consideration how small the portions are compared to the prices. Maybe add some items to the small menu that are a bit more filling and offer a better salsa with the chips. Maybe offer the first order complimentary and charge after?

Decided to try this new spot.I had a skinny marg. and it was good! We had chips and salsa for the app. The chips were excellent, as we're the salsas. All of our meals were good. The steak fajita, shrimp fajitas were pretty good. The fish tacos were very good. The fish was great. The crispy carnitas were the best surprise.No complaints on the food, service, drinks, and atmosphere. It's just a bit spendy for what you get. I've had as good food and drinks for much less $$.

Atmosphere when we enter was good for a new restaurant! Brand new as in only maybe a month open. However, the hostess never checked us in 45 minutes later after a 20 minute table wait. I had to approach her to question our time. She finally added us to a table. We sit down at a small table crowded side to side with other guests. We order Margaritas and the trio appetizer. The queso was watered down and cold. Nothing replaced!! Order the carne asada plate and mix fajitas. Mix fajitas come out and no carne asada plate. Ten minutes pass before waiter comes back to ask about his plate. We were then informed that he never entered the second meal in the system! Told they were going to refire the meal. Carne asada meal comes out, meat is cold and raw. Not medium, it was rare! One tortilla to the whole plate. Waiter returns and we had to ask him for two water refills (twice). I will say, and I hate using this word but for $145 meal we were disappointed! This restaurant by far is not worth a date night for $145 (not including tip)! Matthew R was our server. As we were getting ready to pay we watched an older couple across from us, woman got her food and man patiently waited as well! Same server. She had her food gone before he came around to check on the gentleman! We did leave a decent tip even though they could have fixed the situation and never did! We will not be returning here.Update: business said they reached out to us via another review and this is the only review we had! Disappointed management doesn't handle this either!!

Not sure if it was the toasted coconut marg, but this place was YUM! The interior decor was bougie Baja Mexico themed, and the food/drink was really delicious. Ordered the birria tacos, the mentioned coconut marg, salmon and guacamole was sooooo good. Coming back with girlfriends soon!

The entire experience was not very notable. Had to ask for our drinks, iced tea, after about 15 minutes, how hard would that be? I ordered chips and salsa to munch on until our food came. Guess what, our chips and salsa came with our meals. We won't ever come back, there is plenty of Mexican restaurants around, we don't need to patronize this restaurant that doesn't care about serving you.

Ambience amazing food spectacular. I felt that they were a little short staffed last night.

Food was so great and our server Viviana made our experience so enjoyable! The food is super fresh and tasty.

Dined at Perdida the other night and had a great experience. We had the fajitas and Diablo shrimp. The cocktails, food and service were all incredible. Payton was our server and she was very attentive and helpful the whole time. She made great recommendations and was super accommodating! Quality restaurant, would highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and atmosphere.

I have Celiac Disease (Gluten Free) and haven't had many options in Thornton to safely eat out... until now! A huge shoutout to my awesome server, Matt M, who was incredibly knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and cross-contamination! He made me feel super comfortable eating here. Also you can tell the management really trains its staff in hospitality, as we received "thank you's" from probably 6 different staff members on our way out! Ambience is awesome - super cute on the inside + great patio with heaters! Definitely filling a gap in the Thornton restaurant scene, as you usually only find restaurants like this down South. The food was really great (9/10 for me)! Highlights you should try: street corn, guac, chicken fajitas, carne asada. I will definitely be coming back!
