Tried Pavy's today for lunch and was disappointed, specifically with the service. I ordered the special which was chicken strips and tots for $9. When I ordered the special, the guy snapped and asked me to repeat myself. I said it again and had a $20 bill in my hand. He snatched it out of my hand and gave me change without any comment. Chicken strips were good, though there were no dipping sauces. I was told the packet of ketchup was my option. The tots were nothing special but it was cold out and the meal warmed me up quickly. I won't be going back due to the rude service. Ain't nobody got time for that!

This truck came to my neighborhood this weekend to offer food for those of us under quarantine. I had a very good steak and arugula sandwich that was juicy and satisfying. I also got the bacon cheese tots, because there's nothing in those three words I don't like individually. Let me tell you, when put together, they're astonishingly good. And they didn't use like little faux bacon bits. No, these were great big hunks of tasty pork. The others in my family tried the fried chicken sandwich and the shrimp po'boy and said they were also delicious.I've always said that restaurants with big menus are suspect because they have too many things to get right. For someplace like this, with a small menu, they need to be experts in everything they make. Fortunately for us, they are.

They really don't deserve this 1 star! So I wanted to try this food truck after looking at the pics on their website. Boy was I duped!! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I basically got garlic bread. The chicken pieces were tiny like something u would feed a 2 yr old, the prosciutto were sprinkles of bacon bits, barely any cheese like come on. For $12 I expected a lot more. I know one thing NEVER EVER again will I waste my money on a Pavy sandwich. Totally disappointed & the next time I'll opt for Subway.

We discovered them outside Mockery Brewing. The portions are generous, the flavors are abundant and the ingredients were good quality. The Fried Chicken Sandwich is so good. My favorite so far!

While Lockheed is remodeling their cafeteria they are bringing in a variety of food trucks for lunch. Maybe they should make food trucks a permanent feature since they are so great. Pavy's has 4 sandwich choices ranging from steak to veggie. I loved the roasted veggie sandwich. The toasted bread was fabulous darling! Gotta get tots when on the menu so I did. Wow what a huge pile of tots. One order will satisfy 3 people so share them.

Tried out Pavy's after my apartment complex invited them to our Food Truck Thursday event. I didn't have the best experience from the get go. For one, I thought I was incorrectly charged for my food (the Shrimp and Andouille $11 and Green Chili Tater Tots $7 added up to be $19). When I inquired, the worker gave me a dumb look and blandly told me it was sales tax. Some trucks include tax into the food cost or write "tax not included" on their sign, so it was a genuine mistake in which I received a bit too much sass for.It took about 30 minutes for the food to come out because they had just one person working the event. The green chili tater tots didn't meet my expectations. The chili isn't the normal wet chili, it's a bit dry. Try eating with a fork for best flavor, but definitely doesn't beat traditional green chili. The sandwich was good, but for $11 I was disappointed in that it was mostly slaw and bread. If it was a bit fairly priced or had more meat I would've been satisfied.

Not a food trucker/trailer normally, but this is the second food truck I tried out in a short period of time (a couple of weeks). I was sufficiently impressed and really enjoyed their steak sandwich. The default temp was medium rare, which was perfect for me!. The crisp (toasted?) bread with horseradish sauce, pickled red onions, and arugula with Italian dressing (?) was a perfect combination of tastes and textures. The steak was cubed and very tasty. I gobbled up every morsel. It was yummerooni!!I heard they have plans to set up a brick and mortar version soon!

WOW! Awesome sandwiches!!! We came for a quick bite and left amazed with how fresh and indulgent the sandwiches were. If you haven't had them yet, seriously stop by for a bite! Well worth it!

At first, i was really excited about trying this place out as it posted up in front of my work, but after seeing how everything was handled, not so much anymore. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it took almost 20 minutes for me to get my food and came out soggy, the chicken was tough and tendon-y and also ended up costing $12 which is ridiculous for a sandwich. While i was waiting for my food, someone came up to grab a fork and the owner snapped at him and said "These forks are for people who order from OUR truck!" and then replied "These cost money!" and snatched the bucket of forks away from him like a kid not willing to share his toys, and proceeded to put the forks in the truck and force everyone to ask to have one from there on out. I would think that with overpriced, soggy sandwiches, you could definitely afford the $0.005 it costs to buy plastic forks and not cause a scene.
