I got the eggplant parmigiana pizza to go, and the smell was so delicious that my dog (she enjoys eating the cornicione) and I were eager to get home and dig in. But after the first bite, I was shocked--this was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had! Parma Trattoria has no idea how to make a proper pizza. The dough was bland, mushy, and completely tasteless--the exact opposite of the crispy, flavorful crust you'd expect from a good pizza. It honestly felt like a pre-cooked pizza meant to be finished in the oven at home. I might try baking the leftovers tomorrow to see if I can salvage some crunch in the pizza, but I don't have high hopes.I won't be giving this place another chance.

We absolutely loved our meal at Parma! We tried the margarita pizza (added mushrooms), and the Penne Salciccia (but subbed the penne for Pappardelle). The pizza was fresh, the dough was perfectly cooked, and the toppings perfect. As for the handmade pasta, it was amazing, the sauce was perfect and the sausage portion was generous. Our only note was that we were seated on the patio near the busser station, waiters and waitresses continuously tossed plates into black baskets throughout our meal and it was very loud. We highly recommend and would return if we find ourselves in the area.

I was so excited to try this Italian restaurant based on the rave reviews, but we were all so disappointed. I would've given this place a 1 star review, but decided they deserved an extra star because the staff members were really nice. We were seated pretty quickly and didn't face any negative feedback when we requested a different table--original one was in a busy walkway to the patio. I ordered the chicken parm, while my dining companions ordered the pappardelle bolognese and linguine with clams. Portions were generous, and the presentation was nice, but the flavors did not meet our expectations. Everything was too tart--no umami. The chicken could've been a lot more tender and better seasoned. The only decent item we had was the complimentary bread. I wish I just had bread to be honest. Everything was about $73 with tax, which is quite expensive just for lunch. I've had better Italian food on the east coast and in Honolulu, so I won't be coming back. I'll stick with making Italian food at home until I can find a decent place in Colorado. Where's Blue Parrot when you need it?

Nice family restaurant with traditional Italian cuisine. The service was good and they continually checked on us to see if we needed anything. It was a Friday night and pretty busy. I definitely recommend making a reservation. Nice wine and cocktail selection.

Get a reservation. Don't expect to walk-in and be seated. Service was excellent: from the host, to the wait staff. Ambiance is quite lively (we were there on a Friday night), packed and LOTS of people. Food was excellent - and much more than I figured. We started with a salad, huge. Then got an appetizer, huge. Then ordered pasta, huge. Then, had dessert, huge. It was all excellent and I cannot wait to go back. Expect leftovers, and they are GREAT the next day. I didn't take pictures, I was too busy stuffing my face.

Food was great...we started with the Italian wedding soup which had a very flavorful broth and the most tender tiny meatballs. Next I had the veal parmigiana and substituted papardelli for the penne, the veal was very tender and delicious. My husband had the wild boar papardelli which was very tasty. We finished with the Grand Marnier crème brûlée and cafe Americano. Our server was very attentive despite being very busy.A very nice meal, we're bringing home two boxed leftovers...dinner tomorrow!

Unfortunately, our experience at Parma for our Valentine's date night did not live up to our expectations. While we were excited to try a variety of dishes, several items we ordered never made it to our table, which put a damper on the evening. The food and drinks overall were just average, with a couple of highlights. The vegetarian pizza was well-made, with a good balance of toppings and a crisp crust, and the calamari stood out as one of the better appetizers. However, the rest of the meal was underwhelming, and the service left a lot to be desired.Given the missteps in service and the lackluster experience, we left feeling disappointed. While Parma may have potential, our visit didn't showcase its best.
