Food was authentic. Miniature bodega. Pastries were so delicious. Rancheros Y Huveros and breakfast burrioto were good. Counter service. Staff was super nice. Would come back again.

I have been craving tacos for weeks and couldn't wait any longer. So decided to drive in the unplowed roads while snowing because nothing was stopping me!We ordered tacos: asada, pastor, barbacoa, carnitas, pollo and a carne asada burrito. Total came out to be around $35. Did it satisfy the craving? Yes. Would I go back once the craving hits again? Probably not. Ladies working were helpful and nice. You can eat inside as there are a handful of tables.

Oh boy! Where do I start? I'm visiting Denver and thought I'd try all my favorite kinds of food. I had to get Mexican! I yelped the one nearest to my hotel. This is what I find!Now I'm not trying to down the mexican food in denver, but san diego and Tijuana by far is where it's at! I ordered a lot here. Enchiladas with green sauce and asada meat. These enchiladas was soooooooo dry. It had 0 flavor. I got the "smoldering" cheese fries. More like watered down nasty cheese. I got 2 gorditas, asada and barbacoa. DRY. It was soooooo dry! I also had 4 tacos. 2 asada and 2 al pastor. These were ok. Very small minced meat and flavorless. To add to my order, I also had the asada quesadilla. It was pasty and had very little meat. I decided to get the fajitas, mixed. It came with shrimp, chicken, and beef. Last, but not least, I got the menudo. I love menudo!!! But this was the worst menudo I've ever had. Only hominy was in it. Practically no tripe or pork or any substance. Very watery. It was so bland! One word to describe the food here. DRY.However, the salsa was amazing. Everything I ate was edible bc of the salsa. That saved the day for me. It was such a good spicy and a blast of flavor!I was honestly disappointed at all the 5 stars some people gave the food. In my opinion it deserved a 1 star, but the salsa was so good and the desserts was actually really good. As this place is also a panaderia. I had the cannoli type bread and the lemon filling looking one. Pretty delicious actually. To be fair i had all of this to go, but I ate the food within 10m, since my hotel was only 10m away.

We caught it on a bad day. Record breaking heat and they didn't have AC or it was out. Having said that I got the cheese enchiladas with onions, beans and rice and they were so so good. Maybe the best I've had. My husband got a chicken torta. It didn't meet his expectations. It was a thin roll with lunch meat on it and a little toppings. He was just really disappointed. It wasn't great. The cashier was so so kind. She was over the top helpful and working so hard in the heat.

Superb Mexican food. Served promptly with a smile. No frills -- food comes on a Styrofoam plate. This is just a great lunch at a reasonable price in a strip mall. Enchilada plate was large with rice and beans. The street tacos were absolutely delicious -- carnitas, barbacoa and asada all were perfect, served Mexican style with onions and cilantro. Horchata drink was rich and freshly made. Pastries were good. I'll go back here again -- it was that good.

Very good, the dinners were very well done deep in flavor, great hidden secret spot.The bakery goods were over the top, even being full from dinner i couldnt resist had to buy 6 fruit empanadas.The super flaky strawberry was fantastic, they earned their stars

Awesome torta! There were such great flavors and balance. The carnitas was so soft and unctuous. It was topped with chopped white onion, tomatoes, and an avocado spread. The bread was warmed. The green salsa was great on it. The red salsa made my scalp tingle and sweat. The service was amazing! My food came out in 2-3 minutes after I ordered, but I was the only one in the place.On the way out, this man was carrying two Clamato drinks that looked amazing. There was beef jerky and shrimp on top with lots of chili. I'll have to try that sometime.I would not hesitate to go back when I'm in Denver!

They have various fresh pan dulce & have a variety of great food at a moderate cost. The service is friendly & efficient being a bilingual restaurant. When entering you can either feel hungrier from the smell of delicious food or wanting to dance with the Mexican music playing. Inside is also a bright color decor from piñatas & more.

Hands down the best food we've had in Colorado. We had chili relleno and asada taco's with a real coke we plan on going back. The pastries/bread looked absolutely delicious... can't wait until the kids and grand kids visit! Please try this taqueria you won't regret it!Ordered takeout last night picked up our order got home and our first bite was HOT no need to microwave. The containers the food came in were very good quality and can be used again and again... a perk!

Got the asada burrito. It was pretty good, but way too small to be $20 for two, also considering they have a lot of rice and beans in them. The salsa was good though.
