Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company

Our Mutual Friend was a place my husband kept talking about in the days leading up to our trip to Denver. He'd say, "So and so, and I love Our Mutual Friend". Clearly, he was pulling my leg since I thought we were seeing a person, but low and behold, we were actually a great brewery!We both got flights, with some overlap of our favorite beers. We went on November 1, so I was thrilled to drink an imperial pumpkin porter, which was excellent! You'd hardly know it was 8%. Another standout was the collaboration beer with Wren House in Phoenix, which was another nice surprise. The space inside was bright and open, with a lovely patio outside for end-of-the-year beers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I'd return the next time I'm in Denver.

When in the River North district of Denver, Colorado I highly recommend giving Our Mutual Friend Brewing a visit. They are in a fun area walkable to a bunch of other breweries, but they truly treat you like a friend.I got a flight and had a fun time chatting up the beertender.Festbier:A classic Festbier style Oktoberfest. Holy Scroller:A Saison brewed with Arizona Hickory Honey and fermented using Brett yeast.Neon Nail:A Hazy IPA hopped with Vic Secret, Galaxy, and Citra hops.Porch Pumpkin:An Imperial Porter brewed with Pumpkin and Vanilla. Tis the season, right?Vanilla Thanatoid:An Imperial Stout that they barrel aged and added vanilla. Downright delectable._______

This was fun! Would not have chosen to go here on my own as I am not a beer person. However, Westword 100 tells you that this is a bar you can't live without in Denver, and I would agree. The line out the door to order beer would also agree! It's got a fun, communal vibe going. The menu is extensive, and while I am no beer connoisseur, the pilsner I did try, The Fizz, was tasty. If I am in the neighborhood, I would definitely go again. Try the photo booth as well!

Stopped in for a quick drink and to get one of the Westword 100 Beer & Cider places check off my list, I am not a big beer drinker but did like their offerings of Belgian Sours. The Gratitude Eleven was a barrel fermented Saison with cherries at 5.9% ABV. With a beautiful bright red color, this went down easy. Service is friendly and be sure to order at the bar. Lots of seating options both inside and outdoors. There is also a fun Photo Booth and lots of eclectic decor to look at.

I visited 4 different breweries while in Denver. I only had sour beers at each stop. OMF had the best sour beer of the four breweries we visited. It also had a really cool and fun decor inside. They even had a Photo Booth. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

What a bright and beautiful brewery! I was in town recently and Our Mutual Friend came highly recommended so I had to check it out. I loved all the colors and the mural on the outside of the building. It is small but there is patio with a few additional seats. The inside was full of greenery, which I love. And they even have a little Photo Booth. There's no food but next door is a bbq place. I had just eaten so I didn't try it but several people there were getting food so I assume it's probably good. But I am a KC bbq girlie so ‍The beer. I tried a blueberry sour and a stout. I loved the blueberry sour and I deeply regret not getting any to go. Definitely a good sour. The stout was also good. It was a bit too smooth for a 15% beer. I wish I would have been able to try more but I will definitely return.

Decided to stop in for a refreshing drink on a warm summer Friday afternoon around 2pm while exploring the city and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! My husband had been wanting to try this brewery from seeing good reviews and reading about how they have quality craft brews. Always in search of a tasty sour beer and OMF absolutely delivered!The aesthetic of the building is so fun with the bright colorful mural work and the playful character runs throughout the interior as well. The indoor/outdoor patio seating is on the small side, yet casual and great to enjoy hanging out with just you and a partner or a group of friends! Dog friendly and the service was quick. Have your ID at the ready as they are good about checking!Street parking was easy, however, it would be more difficult on a busier day as the streets are not big in the area.

Blue skies and crips lagers. What more could one want? Well...WiFi would have been nice. But the beer is good. The service was good. The indoor/outdoor patio is great. I love a dumpster view. No really...it added charm!

Probably my favorite of all the breweries I visited in Denver. They have a large selection of beer. I liked the blueberry sour.

I visited Our Mutual Friend a couple of weeks ago while I was in Denver, based on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint! They had two fantastic stouts on the beer list that really hit the spot. We chose to sit inside since it was a bit chilly outside, and the cozy atmosphere was perfect. Everyone who came and went was friendly, including the bartenders, which made the experience even better. I'd definitely go again next time I'm in town!
