Okinawa Sushi

Stopped in this afternoon ahead of the snow. The sushi/sashimi plate and the fried rice were both excellent. Strongly recommend. Very easy to get to, right off of 470.

Ordered on DoorDash and I was really impressed with the freshness of all the fish, the king salmon melted like butter! My only complaint is a couple of my rolls were not rolled properly and fell apart while eating them. But over all really tasty and would try again!

I was incredibly impressed by this restaurant. I live on the west coast and I have access to very high quality fish but I was so surprised by the quality of the fish that this restaurant served. I was not expecting a restaurant in Colorado to have such impeccable sushi. I ordered oysters that had been shipped in from the west coast which was served a secret wasabi sauce that changed my life. I will never eat dyed horseradish ever again. The oysters were so fresh, sweet, and succulent. I've never had such amazing oysters outside of the west coast. I also ordered hamachi, toro, and sake nigiri. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh and buttery. It was so fresh that I could taste the sweet, fruity, and floral notes of the hamachi. The server was very kind and recommended several nigori sakes and allowed us to taste them before ordering a bottle which we really appreciated. Jake, the chef, was kind enough to come speak with us and was highly educated in the art of selecting the best fish shipped directly from Japan. We concluded the meal with a gorgeous, ripe pineapple topped with tajin.Next time I visit, I will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!

This is my go-to restaurant for sushi when I am in the area. Their sushi is fresh, the service is great, and the price is right.They have a wide selection of Nigiri , Sashimi, and Rolls. Even if you don't like raw fish, you'll find something you will enjoy. I definitely recommend getting Oysters, Calamari, and/or Gyoza for starters when you come. The workers here are kind and welcoming. They recognized me after my 2nd visit.Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

This is one of our regular go-to places for sushi. Each bite is so flavorful. You really can't go wrong. For a family of 4, we get a bunch of rolls and if we're feeling flush, we'll get salmon, tuna and eel sushi pieces. Our favorite rolls are:Okinawa RollSpicy Girl Ken CarylMangoLobster Tempura RollUnagiShrimp Tempura We've tried their Golden location but the Littleton location is our preference. The service is always great. Hardly ever a wait and the patio is heated when we go in the winter. Ice cold Ichiban and Sapporo beer in the summer. Clean bathrooms. I just wish they had a happy hour discounts for sushi!

We order takeout for special occasions. The food is consistently excellent - the sushi is tasty and tender, and the fried wontons are to die for. The food is always ready when we arrive to pick it up. While we haven't eaten in the restaurant, it is a very comfortable atmosphere. And the staff is super friendly!

Great food, especially the roll with tempura shrimp, avocado, and mango. I forgot the name. Nice people, great sushi chefs. Would go back.

First time dining at Okinawa. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered edamame, 3 types of sashimi and 3 rolls for 2 people. Alaska roll was delicious! Salmon was very fresh and there was a lot of it! Rainbow roll was very good! Okinawa roll was our least favorite and we probably wouldn't order it again. The maguro was melt in your mouth delicious! Yellowfin sashimi was very firm and dry, not sure if we would order again. Escolar we would not order here again at all. The taste was weird and had a strange texture to it. The tables were clean but the floor is a disaster. There was food everywhere and the floors are very slippery with visible grease/oil/grime. We would maybe be back. Our dinner was $75 before tip, and that would have been fine had we loved everything. We found a very middle of the road dining experience here.

Okinawa Sushi has been recommended to me over the years; and we finally stopped to check it out!First, their house Sauvignon Blanc at 2 for $6 was really delicious. I would actually try to buy a bottle! They had so many choices for sushi including a group of low carb options if you want delicious sushi without the rice. The low carb is wrapped in cucumber and is very fresh tasting! We also had the lovers roll, the rainbow roll, and spicy tuna and salmon. Service was excellent. Parking was free, and it was convenient from c-470 and Ken Karyl. I am sure we will stop here again!

We frequent Okinawa, our favorites are the Kobe beef roll, the garlic calamari as well as the kani crab. We always get a variety of everything.
