Ocho's Mexican Cocina

Just stopped by for some quick late lunch on a random Saturday. The place was clean and quiet. The girl who helped me with my order was nice and friendly. I always asked for my carne asada fried order to be extra crispy and they did fulfill my request (Some places don't really care even if I request). I like that they have a salsa & toppings for you to get it yourself. The food came out nicely packed and tasted delicious! This place def needs more love and I'll be coming back to try other dishes if I'm around the area.

Solid taco shop in DTC! I ate lunch at Ocho's on Taco Tuesday; Ocho's offers select tacos for $2.99 on Tuesdays! They also have other daily specials throughout the week!Ocho's is a fast casual restaurant offering authentic Mexican fare and a salsa bar. Plenty of seating, comfortable and clean eating area. Service was polite and speedy. I tried a pollo, al pastor, and birria taco- all on corn tortillas. All very tasty and tender meats but the al pastor was my favorite for flavor and texture. Great value on Tuesdays!The salsas nicely accompanied the tacos- lots of salsa options! My favorite was the darker and spicer green salsa- likely tomatillo centric. Suggestions for the salsa bar- keep it stocked as one the salsas was nearly out; keep it clean; consider better labels for salsa names; and consider wider cups or smaller ladles to self serve salsa as the current ladles were hard to neatly pour salsa into the cups.

The food is decent and prices seem a little bit high. I have only had this restaurant via doordash so I can't speak to the service or the ambience. I've tried a few items so far and were pretty flavorful.

Quiet and tidy interior. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was fresh and tasty. There didn't appear to be much traffic while I dined in. I could return for another quiet, reasonably priced meal.

Ochoa is a newer addition to DTC and it fits right in as a fast casual non-fast food option for the area. The service is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is good so it hits the marks it needs. However, it is a touch expensive for what you get, it is better than other fast casual Mexican options (chipotle or Qdoba) but it costs more with smaller portions.

Wow!!! Just what the doctor ordered!! I'm from az and have had a really hard time finding good Mexican food! This place is fantastic!! 10 stars!!

Definitely one of the top 5 taco places in DTC. Meats were flavorful. Salsas were great at the salsa bar. Tortillas were delicious and tasted homemade. Frescas were amazing. Will definitely come back.

Pretty solid Mexican food place ! You can't go wrong with their $3 breakfast burritos ! For the price they are good ! Definitely love their tacos and the variety of meats they have !

This food is awesome and treasonable priced, compared to the other Mexican food in the vicinity. I have been here many, many times and I keep coming back. The food is soooo good and it's consistently good. Tacos melt in your mouth. Nachos are loaded - absolutely amazing. I've tried other spots - and they just don't compare.
